Its an atomic series, the setting changes are done by pressing the button. Since they painted over the buttons, you legitimately cant tell if its set to Timber Mode or Wrench Mode. Timber mode uses lower torque.

it’s been solid. there’s other options out there but this one is a little more compact, me having a 4runner and not a truck this is perfect for space saving.

How much they cost versus quality. What you might get if you were only DIY. How often do you actually use wrenches?

tough call. they both use launch based software but my launch is more capable, but it’s also a higher end than my phoenix lite

@@TxToolGuy Yeah you’re right, it does seem like the better deal for anyone that needs to do reprogramming. As far as the interface goes though, say you’re just doing a test drive and you want to graph a few PIDs at the same time and record them, which one are you grabbing?

@@Code325 probably the launch because it can graph multiple at once. i think the phoenix can as well, but i haven’t tried it to verify.

never had an issue. snap on has offered magnetic battery boots for years and used those until these came around.

So the lite 3 comes with topology standard, lite 2 you have to add topology for $100. but not everyone wants topology, personally i love it. but next week this goes on sale for $662 so if you ranted to add topology for $100 you’d still be under $800. the lite 3 is $858. the lite 3 also has can-fd on the mdci and the lite 2 is the mdci lite

in this example, yes, they’re similar, but a lot of people have the spring type clamp, air hammer, and this would be a perfect upgrade for them. All I have is a Snap-on air hammer and that’s all I had to make the video with.
