You could hide beside the white cabinet and crouch down (near where the boxes spawn for hiding) just hope the ghost wont look that way and you should be fine

@@sharmander29 there is a weird mechanic in the game's code that whenever an item id is said by a npc it gives it to you. Naming a chicken causes marnie to say it's name, making it the easiest way to get items. I believe the item [163] gives you is the fish called "the legend"
