It’s my humble opinion that this video is incorrectly named. The title should be more in the line of: “The art of serving Chinese Tea”.

The "second water" after washing the tea, how long to brew before pouring to actually drink? In this video it looks like no time at all.

The purpose of “wasting” the water is to clean the utensils before use. The first step of tea is only used to clean the leaves and not to drink.

Always remember to water your stone demon frogs before drinking
@hendrahendra63313 жыл бұрын
Why do we need to pour the first brew onto the frog and the other two ornaments? Why cant we pour it straight to the water collecting part at the bottom of the tray? Is there a meaning or purpose behind it?

The tea pets are for decoration and when the excess or bad tea and water is poured over them, they will, after months and years of repetition, show a sheen from the tea. (Edit): sorry if that’s confusing, you can learn more by going on Wikipedia etc. Hope you can also learn the beautiful art of tea! 🍵❤️

Honestly I really love you showcasing your tea videos in a ASMR-like style + how it feels very vintage and like i'm immersed as if I was in your shop. I personally would love it if you continue those types of videos. Also I believe you even uploaded a 9 part documentary about how tea leaves are harvested, what happened to that?
@TheChineseTeaCompany3 жыл бұрын
Hello Le Azure - Thanks for your comments. Now that we have our channel back I certainly intend to make more videos. Also, If you are referring to the 'Tea Tour' videos - I removed them as I felt they were a bit amateurish and I felt that the music was a bit off. I am going to redo them though and reupload with different music and probably edited a little different. Might take a while though.

@Critical_Discourse_Corner3 жыл бұрын
Hello - they are using a 'Yixing' Teapot - that exact one will probably not be available anymore as they sell 'one offs' but they certainly have more Yixing teapots in stock and maybe have one that looks similar. Best to email them at [email protected] and they will respond with what they currently have in stock. Not all of their stock is online as they also have a physical store they they use (when not in lockdown). Like I said in a previous comment - the owner is very responsive to emails and queries and will be more than willing to show you what she has in stock and recommend thing to you. Hope that helps.

I used to think the "tea pet" was only for decoration. Watching this video I realized that by pouring the first round to the pet, the amore of the tea will evaporate so that the guest will start enjoying the smell before tasting the tea! Awesome~~

This is not only beautiful, but also very beneficial for your health. The West took all wrong. The West took the taste of tea and lost all health benefits. Note for yourself: no metal (spoons or mesh) is involved, all preparation is just warming up clay cups and pot, no hot temperature water is involved. Under these conditions tea emits hydrogen peroxide in biologically safe quantities... Thum up if the topic is interesting.
There are six kinds of tea ceremonies! Kung Fu tea is just one of them, which is popular in Guangdong and Fujian in China's coastal areas. Tea ordered in the Yangtze River valley is the source of Japanese tea ceremony ~
