Michael have you turned the image of the surrealist catalogue on its side and looked at the two heads that make up the image.? 👉👀👈

Like all worthy philosophers, Harman peels back the curtain and exposes that people's comfortable assumptions are false. It makes some people uncomfortable. Like all worthy philosophers, Harman probably won't get his due until years in the future.

It’s the title that gives it to you Michael “GIVEN.” So it doesn’t need notes. Where the ABSTRACT needs words to give you clues to the open ended possibilities. As there are with chess move.

Where do you get off lecturing people about extinction when your carbon footprint is way more massive than a herd of mastodons galloping through the centuries. And they didn't use a speck of electricity which you take for granted. You rob mother nature of her energy just so heated concert halls can shine a spotlight on your face. The upper class and celebrities like yourself with their fancy houses are destroying the Amazon rainforests......the home of the monarch butterfly......so you can chase fame and immortality. Your fascination with technology steals the limited resources of the earth at a rate of tons per second so can play your silly music and broadcast your jack of all trades persona. The real geniuses like Beethoven and Mozart used acoustical instruments which only need human energy. But remember you're an artist and you have to be free. So keep condemning 'experts' and complaining about extinct animals while your foot stays on the accelerator. Any idea what it cost Mother Nature to enhance your career and put a couple of million in the bank?

'Beyond the Visible - Hilma af Klint'. 2019 A 93 minute documentary on Hilma's life and work.. the video above is a mere excerpt. Highly recommended. Kandinsky and Rudolph Steiner do not come out well...let alone MoMA....

The reason she kept them secret was because they were not works of 'Abstract' art, but illustrations to esoteric concepts, which were embodied in the writings of the Theosophical society, and were therefore not for public consumption. If you are going to curate something like this you should do your homework first.

Dan is a hero in the Brooklyn artsy lib hipster scene. This guy is completely uneducated and the disastrous byproduct of being raised by an "educational psychologist" beatnik mother in the 1950s. He typifies the pseudo intellect of the 1960s and the extreme idiocy of the lib movement in NYC that has existed since then. Utterly nauseating, pointless and self absorbed at best and destructive of human intelligence at worst. Good riddance, Dan. RIH!
