What rod is the 2nd guy using? the tip looks so flimsy, like as if the lead is too heavy for the rod to handle and yet the mid and butt section is stiff.

That’s what happens when you chop the cast and bring it over the top forcing the rod into an unnatural arc lol. Awful casting style to me but here you go. 👍

G'day Keith. How far can you blokes cast out. Look's interesting. Rods look like they about 14ft long. Just inquiring from New Zealand. Great video by the way. Kind regards.

Hya rods are between 13-15 feet long dependent on weather casting 200-290 meters weights used 7-300gms. Take care and best regards
