Thank you for a great video! It really resonates with my own experience. I’ve been using Jelly Star for over four months now and it helped me a lot. My screen time reduced significantly. I’ve come up with the same recipe independently - basically, you have to introduce friction to make your phone less convenient for entertainment: small screen (Jelly Star), greyscale colour palette, only crucial notifications, no icons. What great about Jelly Star is that it is a very capable smartphone but its tiny screen prevents you from mindless scrolling, and in greyscale it looks like the most boring thing ever. And that’s what we want! I’ve tried Before Launcher and I liked it a lot, but it seems to drain battery much faster than default Android launcher. So I reverted to a standard launcher. Btw, if you want to use KZfaq more intentionally try NewPipe. It’s not for everyone, but if you’re ready to say goodbye to the YT algorithm and leaving comments, then you may give it a shot. Every time I turn on my iPhone, which I do sometimes to use learning apps, I immediately notice that my screen addiction is back again. I guess it’s a lifetime effort to keep myself in check while using any device with a screen.

Thanks for making this video! I've been trying to curb my phone addiction and had my eye on the Jelly Star and this review was perfect. I was planning on switching the SIM between this and my Google Pixel as I am not completely ready to transition to a dumb(er) phone full time. Do you know if this would be an issue with the Jelly Star? Thanks again

I watch it on the metro 😂....... well about the battery, ram, storage, this is good. now there are many phones that have a strong battery and big storage compared to a small phone... but the cameraaa . Im sooo surprised how from a small phone to an iPhone, this is really amazing .....🤯🤯 Yes stop using phones and social media....... thats mean you need a phone like this ..or change it to a dumbphone. Unfortunately all my studying requires Instagram and KZfaq. If I don't take care and focus 👨‍🌾 , I will lose all my time.😬 sooo well done bro thats amazing thank you for everything. So basically its a smartphone that looks dumb lol.Honestly this video is quite good! I always struggle with battery life when it comes to dumb phones.
