I disagree on the piracy thing being the main issue for those corporations making a profit. It's a symptom. In their persuit of short-term profits, they have persued actively numerous hostile policies against the viewers for many years now, which understandibly encouraged many to pirate. Now, it seems to bite them, and they blame said viewers they have alienated over the years.

Let's look at the bright side, maybe Viz Media will do a better job with RWBY than how Rooster Teeth handled the show. Maybe Viz Media will actually follow Monty Oum's vision and return RWBY back to it's Volume 1-4 roots of action filled fight scenes, better choreography, the characters acting like teammates and writing that doesn't have a billion plot holes.

Rwby is like the roach you try, and kill. only for it to keep coming back. The concepts, art style, and characters are great, don't get me wrong. But the writing is just terrible. If its coming back with the original writers, i wont bother watching it. Not worth my time.

listen, rwby isnt perfect, there are a lot of plotholes and a lot of things that could have happened better, but if rwby never gets a final ending it would be CRIMINAL. There are so many rwby fans that for it to go unfinished would be very unfortunate

If there's anything I'll admit the Kelvin timeline did right, it's 100% the way it handled the destruction of the Enterprise. She wasn't disabled in one shot by a Klingon ship and forced to self destruct like in TSFS, nor was she beaten up by an 80-year outdated ship that managed to steal their plot armor (AKA shield frequencies) like in Generations. She was defeated in a way that felt more complete than the others. Not taken down by a single ship that she outgunned 100 to 1, but instead defeated by hundreds of ships that acted as weapons on their own. The only Enterprise I can think of that beats out the Kelvin one in terms of a true honorable demise is the prime timeline Enterprise C.

Man I used to love the Creatures. I literally watched basically all of their content and everything most of the individual members were doing (especially all the Minecraft videos with Sly, James, and Seamus) but when they got to that office man things go SO BAD. I remember waiting around almost for an entire week just for like a 7 minute episode about those god forsaken monkeys again and having videos with just a couple members in it each time and wondering "What the hell happened? Why am I even here anymore?" I pretty much gave up on them when the gameplay videos slowed down to almost nothing and when James and Aleks left I basically just said screw it, I'm not the biggest fan of Kootra and Dan is a great guy but he can't carry this alone. I really do miss the simple earlier days but I guess everything has to come to an end. The Creatures are a shining example of just letting your friend group be friends and not trying to make a business out of it.

Everyone's dumping on Troi's driving, when it was an emergency situation followed by explosive interference - honestly, things would probably have been worse had nobody taken the helm, and even Data would probably have been unable to salvage the situation. Riker made the call to put someone he trusted there, and even the few moments she had control would have made a positive difference.
