Thanks for sharing your work night Whitney. I remember when a family member was incarcerated and had to give birth. They had an officer at the door and she was handcuffed to the bed. I was about 10 years old and it's a sad memory that I will never forget. Thanks for not being judgemental with that patient.❤

How are the doctors on your L&D unit? I’ve found the ones on mine to be very rude, dismissive and passive. I wouldn’t dare ask them questions in attempts to wanna learn so I resort to asking my co workers.

The doctors on my L&D unit are very approachable and honestly team oriented. They are open to our recommendations . I hate that the doctors are like that on your unit . Y'all should be working as a team to provide the best patient care and they should be open to nurses recommendations.
