One more thing: I like your videos a lot, humorous commentaries. Even though I am a local, there are still a lot of places I am not familiar with, and your videos about Penang have shown me places I should try out. Thanks!!!

Really like his truthful and honest view on the taste and price of the food he tasted, unlike some bloggers who are either being too diplomatic or kind to criticize bad or expensive food. Kudos and respect to you Elmo. Keep it up, cheers!

Penang MSK is just so so and not as good as those from KL where most get their supply from Pahang. However, Penang’s Balik Pulau varieties that I enjoy the most is 1. Red prawn 2. Hor lor 3. Lipan (my absolute favorite) 4. Capri Anyway, good durian hunt video. Thanks for sharing 👍

Quite dissapointed with ur foods recommendations esp in Georgetown, most of the places are touristy eg. cendul at Penang Rd., which is much overated, can much better cendul minus the Q...most food bloggers will go places where local eats.
@malaysiafood32816 сағат бұрын
I liked tis cendol for its taste but if it happens to attract lots of tourists then it's sheer coincidental

The pork porridge at Chowrasta still around. Two aunties selling, while the old uncle still prepares and brings over the porridge. And you slept a night at the Penang Road police station?! Holy!
@malaysiafood32820 сағат бұрын
Wow u really know penang. FYI we didn't sleep in the cell, they allowed us to sleep in the bunks of the 2 constables on midnight duty. I'm sure tis service won't b available now, not like the late 60s

@@malaysiafood328 Because I live in Penang😄, island side. But there are still many places I haven't go explore, especially at Seberang side. Thanks to your informative videos, I want to go check them out! That sleeping-in-police-station story is really something 😀

This trip has captured the moments/essence of what it is like to travel locally ( in a van ) and the landscape as the van trots along the path towards the Northern part. I Liked the frankness of Elmo in describing the environment and each of the tourist spots featured reflects exactly as how it used to nowadays when one is there. The food is also not pretentious and well illustrated in each of the eateries visited at their unique location. As always - Elmo has nicely edited the video and makes it easy for us to enjoy. Yatt Lau , Mou Tak Deng 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽. Awaiting for the next episode as your team travels further up north to enjoy scene (and food) there. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
