Not been to Porec since my ex girlfriend back in 1989 or was it 1990 or may of been 1991 and went to Venice on a day trip back then . Almost forgotten nearly got attacked by a shark and small boats were distracting the shark while a small boat came alongside me grabbing me and putting me out of the water all the women were screaming and grabbed children off the beach after someone said something to me in Yugoslavian and pointed at something about 10 or 11 feet long, swimming away, tiger shark hammerhead or bull I don't know, but we drank that night I was nearly 21 and that man saved me never thought about him or this until two minutes ago. I remember something, I'd tried to forget so long ago, my girlfriend couldn't swim and was afraid of the water did even go into the pool if I remember rightly. Strange forgetting that, all of that 42 years ago Love mom

Thank you for sharing such a vivid and intense memory from your trip to Poreč! It's incredible how experiences like that can stay with us for so long. It's amazing that you remember the details so clearly after all these years. Poreč and its surroundings definitely hold some unforgettable moments for many of us. I hope you have the chance to visit again someday, maybe even create some new memories-hopefully less dramatic ones! And cheers to the heroes who cross our paths when we least expect it.

Is any part of the beach particularly naturist/nudist friendly ?

Hi. There are no designated 'naturist beaches' anywhere on the island, but you will see naturists on many smaller, more accessible and remote beaches. Son Bo Beach, which is the closest between the two hotels, is for families and those who prefer to dress up. As you move away from this area, with the seafront on your left, past the Torre4 Rescue Service, you will see people in and without swimwear. From here you can find nudists. My wife and I are traveling to Viborg soon. I confess it is because of my favorite Chinese restaurant outside the city, but we will walk around in town and try to grab a little culture while we are there. The church, the architecture, the narrow streets laid out in medieval times...a cute little town, and clean. We have been before and I am looking forward to the next excursion soon!
