The funny part is him breaking the sound barrier like that would actually create less resistance opening for the explosion to follow him even faster and further. without the resistance of air right behind him

Maybe if he flew but the speed at which hes going is to fast to avoid the obstacles he'd have to avoid. That street he's on is probably in the book of world records for "the worlds longest completely straight road". Not to mention i doubt his legs are long enough to extend to that speed. And theres no way he could see.....just saying.

this is inaccurate to how dangerous a nuclear bomb is even moving at super sonic speeds he would still be hit by the heat wave that moves at the speed of light and the on rushing air caused by the formation of the mushroom cloud pulls in at near supersonic speeds he would be pulled backwards wit the very ground he is standing on don't get me wrong it's a cool scene that does some interesting things but i always find that a more tense and interesting scene could be caused by following the actualy science as many shows animies included often have underpowered threats which i think is pretty funny
