I hope the couplers are fixed, I'm curious on how the couplers actually work cause w/ the same range as a Piano it's rather interesting. I believe the new musician who has it can explain it in more detail.

Fabulous sound. I have one too and just waiting for it to come back after overhaul. The most expensive clock I've ever bought and had it sent here all the way from USA. I'll upload video soon.

The two Pedals pump air into the reeds and when you hit a Key it opens a valve to let the air in, then the air passes over the reeds causing them to vibrate.

Fun Fact: Sonora Bell clocks are made in the early 1900s. They have 8 bells and 5 bells on each of the Sonora bell clocks. They have two movements, the one with the two key holes, the striking hammer and the pendulum. And the second movement which chimes between the half’s and quarters, also has one key hole on the right bottom corner.

Thanks for sharing these wonderful clocks. Have you visited Champs Clock’s 1865 John Moore in Douglasville GA. Please do if not. Ours may be the oldest continuously operating tower clock in public view. It would be nice to know if this is true.
