Mine is smooth all the way through the draw cycle. Very consistent and plenty fast enough to hunt.

Thank you so much! The range I go to had sandbags years ago to lend out. Not any more. They don't lend anything out. The bags that are sold on the internet are so poor. They look good and are shaped fine but are too low and don't accommodate rifles with tall magazines. With sandbags, I can mount, pile, or adjust it to whatever I want. Thanks again.

Every single point of this video contradicts what western backcountry hunters do. Get skin off rigjr away. Most say to debone to get heat out. Spritz with citric acid to prevent bacteria. Put in mesh game bags to keep flies off. Hang in the shade. Once you have ut packed out, put it on ice in a way that doesnt soak it. Let the cooler drain so water doesnt build up in the meat. The citric acid and hanging method some claim crazy results with

Did you have to do the same chamber work on your Savage rifles? This is the same conclusion I've come up with. Verry rough chambers.

What if you don’t have a sight? Or, in my case, have a new Hoyt with a front picatinny rail? I have no sight frame on the side to attach the mount.

I found this bow in almost new condition, no string wear, no scratches , and no dings of any sort. And no sign of tool use anywhere. All for $ 120 bucks. My only concern is if the bow went unused for several years, should I replace the string and cable?

I got one of these, setting it up in the next couple weeks, I’ll tinker with the timing to get it to that sweet spot and then shoot paper to make sure I got it centered since my knock point is where it fits me, from there it’s easy peasy

Those cables absolutely go bad! They do make replacement cables or you can use chains.

I understand it, I believe it works but no one in mentioning that the string is directly in line between the Vnotch and the sight pins. Seems like the string would block the view of the pins to some extent.

Love the Boyd's stock but I'm hesitating because of the rear action screw. Is there still an issue with the plastic sleeve breaking since that gap is still there between the action and the screw support??

I have a problem with your trashing Savage because you didn't get your response as fast as you thought it should be. Also, the barrel touching the stock could be as simple as the barreled action not being held center when tightening the stock from the factory. It's just so simple to even sand the barrel channel to increase the free float. I have many Savage rifles and their accu-stocks are hard to beat. There are of course the other stocks that are steel pillar bedded that sometimes do not make full contact and may need a bit of help. But none of them deserve a trashing. It really takes so little to tweak a Savage. And complaining about the trigger adjustment tool is really juvenile. You can actually do it with even s small bladed flat screwdriver. But let's get real it's easy and they give you a tool. I suppose you are trying to cover all the bases for anyone that would not like the Savage for any reason. Nice video but honestly it should have been more positive. I myself make sure to put the stock in the middle and retightening stocks. If I find the free float to be not enough, I take some sandpaper put it on a round dowel the right size and sand it until the free float is what I think it should be. Easy enough and not anything worth complaining about. It is a budget friendly rifle that needs very little tweaking.

The barrel was actually cross threaded into the receiver. Savage replaced it, but they took their time. In the end, the rifle was a tackle driver. I'm glad you're a fan of savage I am as well. I'm simply trying to give an honest evaluation. This video is just my humble opinion

Has anyone else noticed that Mossberg put the red dot (that signifies safety off/fire position) in the opposite location of where it should be? My nephew’s rifle incorrectly shows the fire position indicator where the safety on position is.

Did you ever do the video on pillar bedding the Mossberg Patriot? I can't see it listed on your KZfaq channel. I was interested in buying a MP in .308. I sure would like to know about how you did it and how it performed.
