A sawing motion would more effective than the scraping all these ''doctors'' seem to do.

I'm sorry I feel his pain through the screen from you using blunted instrument to pull out the corn. I've seen better techniques using "sharper" instrument to cut through the corn rather than pulling and tugging so hard. Ouch!

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought this chiropodist was working in such a painful way. I don't understand why he was pulling and tugging at it. She should have used the blade to shave it down and remove the corn that way . Not get a pair of pliers and yank the skin ....terrible practice

He needed to remove the *entire nail* to prevent this from reoccurring, let alone leaving the copious amounts of granuloma tissue surrounding that nail. ... The condition of this ingrown toenail is what you would expect to see on a person who is homless or has just never seen a podiatrist in their life, not a patient that has had regular appointments with the same podiatrist for 10+ years. Unless that Doctor is mediocre at best. ... I think "Doctors" like this are *only* Doctors because they could afford to attend medical school for over 6 years while having the advantage of financial support from family, so they can focus on textbooks rather than the stress of paying bills and working a minimum of 60 hours a week. Don't trust everything a "doctor" does or says, especially if they're scared of a little blood. Because they didn't get to be a doctor due to the person they are, just the life they were born into.

On a more serious note; the young man's toes look to be very mis shapen with the majority of the joints showing signs of arthritis. almost all his toes are curled into hammer toes. He needs orthopedic treatment quickly, before the damage is beyond correcting. It amost looks like he has been squeezing his feet into shoes that are too small for him!
