this is magnificent, the scale is admirable, but i can't help but wonder: why did you stretch the train line this far out of the base? weren't there any resource nodes closer? thanks for the ride in any case, it was indeed very relaxing

mods.factorio.com/mod/rso-mod With this mod you can change the spawn behaviour of ores. I configured it so that even the nearest ores (except the starter ores) will be very far away so you will have to build very long train tracks. Why? Because i loove trains choo choo

This was really interesting to watch remind me of the factorio trailer it just hurts my brain that the belts weren't saturated yet i do understand that there's very few people like me that will make their Factory based off correct ratios to make the most amount of science as possible
