I love the creative use of the FFF soundtrack, one of the best songs Factorio has shown us so far!

"We climbed to the mountain's peak, and at the summit found a stairway to God. Every belt fastened, every track laid, each another step towards "more". Facing in that most seductive direction which points to nowhere, we climbed higher, so sure we were in our footing, never once doubting our feet. We.climbed until we slipped, and off the foot of God's staircase we fell--with still so many steps to climb."

This is so lovely, obviously your base is modded and much bigger than bases usually are, which makes me question, what if it's in 2.0 with the Space Age DLC? Can't wait!

That's crazy. I literally had this thought like 3 days ago. "POV you're a iron ore becoming a blue circuit" was what I had in mind.

this is magnificent, the scale is admirable, but i can't help but wonder: why did you stretch the train line this far out of the base? weren't there any resource nodes closer? thanks for the ride in any case, it was indeed very relaxing

mods.factorio.com/mod/rso-mod With this mod you can change the spawn behaviour of ores. I configured it so that even the nearest ores (except the starter ores) will be very far away so you will have to build very long train tracks. Why? Because i loove trains choo choo
