I appreciate your submission on this. Pray, and if there is no instruction to move forward with it, don’t force it. These things sometimes aren’t clear cut. I know it’s probably easier for a guy who maybe has more understanding to be more willing to be with a woman who may not understand as much, provided she’s teachable. The other way round could be trickier…what God is saying (asides feelings and any other green flags one may have seen) and the person’s teachability and genuine pursuit of God independently are worth considering I think.

Well said honestly. I was almost caught up in a similar situation. When I saw the reality I ran for my life. Ladies!!! Please don’t excuse anything during talking stage, shine your eyes well and pray for guidance before settling. There’s the woman ego and pride that thinks we can change a man or he will change when we marry; news flash! E no dey work like that ooo. You continue with whatever you started with during the courtship period. You can’t change someone if the person has no personal inclination to change. Know this and know peace. At the end of the day it depends on what we all want out of our life’s; our limited view or scope of things right now or God’s beautiful plan for us which requires us to WAIT and be PATIENT.

Nma I’m sure you’re well conversant with my pulling journey. I can tell you that scripture is so true. If you don’t have a partner that sharpens you spiritually, pulling that person will burn you out!!! There is a reason pulling people is the ministry of the Holy Spirit. It is not meant to be our jobs. So better find somebody moving in the same direction as you so in case on an evil day, they cannot only bank on their physical support but their prayers get help you get back on track. Not only that, what we receive is very important, the bible says faith comes by hearing and hearing of the world of God. We need people that will speak Gods word in our lives.

Nothing can more frustrating than marrying someone who you’re dragging to come up in their spiritual journey!
