To be frank, you must learn to adjust to food wherever you are... S. Korea is a non veg country, and you might have been aware of it even before moving there. For example, i am from the northeast india, and i have adjusted a lot while studying and working in Pune and Delhi. Also, i am used to eating in a bowl with a spoon and i used to not eat meat and now i work with the rural community given my profession so now i eat with my hands and eat anything that i am provided, even meat at times. I have become like a buddhist Bhikku who has learnt not to complain as i have seen people suffering far worse than myself so as a fellow Indian all i can say is its good to be open to new culture/ food and adjust and sometimes prejudice is within yourself so work on yourself before expecting from others. P.S. also, Korea has a very strong heirarchial culture that you are aware of, so it is better to respect you as you are there. Same like in india, we can not address elders as Tum or Tu, so it's best to use polite language while you speak Korean. Best wishes.
