do you have to have this hammer to be able to damage this boss or something? thats the only thing you have that i dont and for some reason i enter the arena and no heath bar shows up and none of the other weapons damage it

I'm playing this Oddworld videogame on PS1. First area which is a factory is amazing, the very best in the game, the way there are different floor levels higher and lower and the puzzles are complex as you rescue those Mudokons, although I had to check out this walk through to find out there are ladders you can't see that are behind certain objects that go to lower floors, and you need to also jump into some trap doors on the floor that open whereas other trap doors that open you'll fall and die, but I was hoping the entire game or at least most of it was this first factory area of 99 instead of only 28 to rescue. The next area consists of hard platforming jumping and running to avoid enemies. Still great but it takes hours to beat these segments before the next save point without dying, but well worth it..

My favorite C&C Game is The First Red Alert. Then Generals would be my second favorite in the series but I’ve enjoyed playing all of them. I miss the old C&C days

I play it through the Origin Launcher, which is now the EA play app. Think its only sold as a bundle on there, but its also on Steam and you can buy it separately. Look up GenLauncher so you can change the resolution and zoom out further like this using GenTools.

That part of the shooting cannon tables where you had to jump over is pure nightmare fuel, probably the worst part of the whole game. Platforming was not Medievil's forte, and this level really shows. It's a shame because thematically it's the best level but platforming wise it's the worst...

It should be, can't remember where I originally obtained it from. Rom Hacking or Fanatasy Anime are the first things which come to mind, but the Hard Mode hack isn't there - just the original translation and the 2022 one. The Hard Mode hack was an extra patch. If you can find the original JRPGe team website or somewhere they hosted this, you might find it. Failing that, I still have it on my PC, so could send it on Discord.
