DKJB is such a gem. It's mind blowing how the gamecube seemed to pump out so many! I know it's a meme to say "this game makes you feel like" whatever character, but this game for me always was that. There has never been a combo system more satisfying to me, and this game just constantly impresses me with how good it feels!

I now know it was Canadian and that is why I loved the TV show Dog City the animated version / cartoon version with puppetry! Which I loved the storyline in the first two seasons and come season 3 that's when Dog City the t.v. show went down hill and lost what was so great in season 1 and 2! Which there was an episode of Dog City in I think Season 2 or 3 where the show was going to be done and there was nothing left!

@TheCartoonGamer8000, nice videos. They are very useful and pack a lot of interesting info. By the way, many English-speaking analysis/reviews repeat the idea that Mewtwo seeks to destroy the world and humans, even refering to the Japanese original dub. But I haven't found any dialogue or gesture that mentions or suggests that. Mewtwo doesn't show any murdereous attitude, but a lack of empathy and care for humans. Dr. Fuji and the scientist team die as a result of Mewtwo destroying the laboratory and not as a result of him killing them (which would be a piece of cake with his psychic powers).
@TheCartoonGamer80008 күн бұрын
I feel Mewtwo fully intended to kill those guys - he wasn't testing his powers out and got out of hand, he was upset at what his purpose was. He was striking back at humanity for what they did to him.
@japanimusicperu8 күн бұрын
@TheCartoonGamer8000 , the issue with that premise (established by the English dub) is that makes Mewtwo's redemption feel rather forced after declaring war to mankind and alledging to wipe them out with a annihilating storm (something totally abscent not even suggested in the Japanese version). The villanization of Mewtwo is the result of 4Kids staff adaptation/localization to convert him in a unambigiously evil antagonist. Because many adults prefer to avoid depicting morally ambigious characters in products for kids.

Everyone keeps bringing up these good points with creators, but just because they passed doesn't mean everything is valued like a painting. I'm glad he stopped or was halted when he was. He wanted to END Pokemon which would've been a stop to the franchise itself, which would've been a mistake. And I don't think it would've been great if those harsh Gym rules were really implemented. Plus his original ending for the Pokemon movie or ending with a revolt would've been real depressing and bad of an ending for a franchise.

Something interesting that you didn't mention is that the infamous "Our Love is Stronger Than a Golden Banana" song was actually sang by Richard Yearwood himself, one of very few in the whole show that Jarvis didn't sing. But regardless of that, this was a great video and as a fan of the show myself i approve.

It meant it was slowed down 86%, so it's barely flashing.

@@TheCartoonGamer8000 so the thing is, I'm not familiar with what, "slowed down n percent," without any preposition, defaultly means. Sorry, it feels as if I missed a math lesson years ago. Is it like... you removed 86% from 100%, so it's 14%? That's what one side of my brain says, but the other says that using _subtraction_ to describe the change in a _rate,_ as if it's a countable _amount,_ would be really weird...

@@TheCartoonGamer8000 OK so as you said, the show isn’t fully Mo cap but from what I’ve seen in the background of some behind-the-scenes documentary, it seems like they’ve used clay models or dolls to emulate human and from the music video the creators of the show worked on “Money for nothing most of the animation is emulated after human movement but was still probably done by hand which is really cool and one last thing I should’ve recommended you should totally watch uncle Al’s donkey Kong Abridge series basically take the original cartoon, but make it extremely messed up,like you know how you said about the original scripts being racist, and sexist this version of the series take those concepts and add more messed up stuff in it,it’s absolutely hilarious though there are only 2 episodes it’s still a blast! And thank you for giving the voice cast the recognition they deserve, especially Benedict Campbell & Adrian Truss, as I've always felt that they're super-underrated. I remember them from other Nelvana cartoons such as _Berenstain Bears_ and _Rolie Polie Olie_ respectively, and felt they really knocked it outta the park in this show, making the most of a short forty-episode run.
