Let’s scale the Living Universe first: The Living Universe is the place where all the main cast lives, In the Daizenshuu Guidebook it was stated to be infinite. As well as, it has infinite galaxies. This alone should make it High Universal, However there’s more… In the Northern Quadrant of the Multi Galactic range, there exists a planet called “Earth” here we have the Kami’s Palace, which has different rooms whom are separate space time continuums. The time room and the hyperbolic time chamber. Now these two realms have their Own separate time axis, as seen in the Time room. It has its own linear time flow, and the Hyperbolic Time chamber aka RoSat is stated in the Chozenshuu guidebook to be detached from any other dimensions. So to say it would be DIMENSIONALLY placed on top of the living world would just be nomological impossible, since it wouldn’t have any space time, it wouldn’t have an web for things to exist nor any flow of events, so to say it is physically placed ontop of it would be pretty disingenuous since the Living world has time and space. So you would be saying that Afterlife would share the same time axis as the living world , which clearly it does not. “Ok but it has space time because King Kai and Goku were referring to time passing in the otherworld” This is the most famous argument used by the downplayers so let’s refute it. Now when the King Kai was referring to time passing in the otherworld? During the events when the Sayians were arriving onto earth. And all of this is in conjunction to that, because Goku needed to hurry to get to the earth before they arrive. “Ok but, Goku would haven’t take much time and he would have certainly arrived there sooner” This argument is Time dilation, however it’s actually wrong and I’ll prove it. The afterlife doesn’t have any Gravitational axis, and the effect of relative velocity wouldn’t also apply since there is no clock for Time in the Afterlife as it doesn’t exist. “Transcending doesn’t always typically refer to having an r>f transcendence” Another most popular argument I’ve seen and I’ll refute it. You see, the transcend here is pretty much in context to transcendence. And transcendence refers to an state where you have gone beyond physical limitations, which makes since it’s described as a spiritual realm. Even then, if we wanna use the term “transcend” it still pretty much means the same. The text "The supernatural world governed by gods, a celestial realm beyond human perception, transcending dimensions higher than the heavens. The gods observe everything in the world from this place." Pretty much the text “transcending dimensions” is in conjunction to “higher than the heavens” and “beyond human perception” even then, the term Transcend can be defined in this case as, going beyond limitations. And In the context of dimensionality, this would mean not be bounded nor restricted to Dimensional axis. And since I have already established how the perception is being referred to know or to be aware. Also supports that in the anime, the afterlife sees the Living world as a “Lower Realm”. Of or relating to transcendent The 2nd and 3rd definitions are likely the most logical via Occam’s Razor, since the Otherworld is described as non corporeal and abstract. With all of this in due we could finally come to an conclusion that: 1. The afterlife has no space time 2. It is disconnected from the living world 3. It has an r>f transcendence over the living universe. The kaioshin realm which L’s area is the afterlife verbatimly views the mortal universe as a Temporal world which relates to space and time which makes up a dimension. Reaching the afterlife without dying requires teleportation which is to appear instantly without traveling Which is contingent on spaces locations that are connected in and to that space Something that is spatially seperated is impossible to reach by traveling.
