Nice tech, would advice using the firestarter and setting them alight cause it deals 150% damage increase, plus the natural 150% damage increase of rockets and the 200% increase of cannonballs on cerb it would stack up

In arcade mode yes, in realistic sighting is more I think based of machinegun fire and scouting.

aside from them being scouted showing an eye icon near their location or them being shot and showing arrows near them temporarily, its fully reliant on your eyesight
