Hi. Thank you, you gave me clarity between the weekly and daily planning, I was lost. However, I do have a question in regard the daily planning. As showned at the hourly section of the daily plan, you have added there the taks that must be performed during that moment, either if they are tasks identified during the weekly planning or tasks related to a project or goal and that also includes any possible meetings. But in the right side, are those activities that might happen? or if there is time after completing the ones at the left will you move to that list and do them? how can I undertand the right left task list? I'm asking because I don't want to end with a million of tasks that have to get done.

Oh my goodness Laken, thank you for mentioning the lazy genius. Never had I heard of her or those concepts mentioned. I mean I have heard some of the principles but I never heard of her sharing about them or her story. I listened to this interview of her and I will now be listening and trying to learn from her too. Your recommendations are so wonderful! Thanks for all you do us on this channel, Arlene 😊 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bJN8gdiosbXUl4k.htmlsi=Zr_Mro3pUOHEBkP0

I had a win today. I have an autoimmune disease and some of my medicine is biologic. For years I've been trying to find ways to properly dispose of the needles but never got a clear answer. Recently I found out I could take them to my local police department. I did just that. I took 3 full sharps containers full of needles. They even took 5 months (20 needles) worth of expired medicine.

I want to thank you so much for this channel. I have started following you and I love your daily plan with me’s that you do over a week and it has “helps me so much” to make routines, write them down following you plans but inserting mine, and I just am so happy with the direction I am going in. Laken, I bought the markers you bought and am loving them! Arlene 😅

My win: I had a job interview for a job as a teacher in a beautiful 😍 area in France 🇫🇷 Yeah 🙌 AND I lost 1,5 kilos in one week working in the hotel at the reception because I finally stick to my intermittent fasting 👍Yeah! Also, I stick to my live routine (24 each month on the different channels). I feel like finally I’m getting there and I think in September when I go to France I will finally establish a deep work routine in the free hours. Have a great rest of the week 🌷

Hey, Laken. I really struggle with having a highly variable work schedule and environment . . . Some weeks I work 8 11 or 12 hour days in a row outdoors in the field, while the next week I may work 5 8 hour days in the office. My day may start anywhere from 3:20 to 5 am, and that doesn't include what I may do on days off. I do okay with routines when doing fieldwork, but really struggle with establishing a routine that helps me get into the groove when working from the office. Any tips for establishing a routine when it isn't regularly implemented ( might be in the office 1 week a month or less).?
@PlanwithLaken4 күн бұрын
Great question and that is so tough! Since your consistency is not going to be dictated by days of the week or times of day, remind yourself that consistency can be anchored to something else as well - when you're in the office, the first thing you do when you sit down at your desk, right before you leave for work whatever time or right when you get home, etc. Because the frequency is less often, it may take you a little more time to feel really good about it, but if you keep focusing on it, it will still become a routine!

Thank you!! The best suggestion I have for your is to not compare yourself to anybody else and especially your younger self! You are at a different time in your life and that doesn't mean you can't do things, but it just might look different than what you had done in the past. The good news? You know SO MUCH more. So your why and your inspiration is probably so much stronger, so narrow in on that and prioritize what you CAN do!

Wish I had a better skin care routine. I have one, it's just not very consistent.
@PlanwithLaken4 күн бұрын
I get that! Always remember that something is better than nothing so one day is better than zero days and one step is better than zero steps. Keep working on it and it will get more consistent!

How do you imagine this is going to help people? I am curious. Most creators share what they're doing because they think it will help their viewers, but I can't make head or tail of your planning system. I'm sorry, Laken, I'm sure you're a lovely woman and I wish you well, but I can't see there would be any benefit to me in watching another of your videos.

Can we talk about planner routines? I set up my month/week, and check in frequently on a daily basis and throughout the day. BUT, the daily check ins are a necessity-based activity. So things like habit tracking, time tracking, monthly check in, updating lists, goal tracking, etc (these are just examples) don’t get done on a regular basis. When it comes to goals, I want to do some of these things to help keep track of wins/learning opportunities. It seems like I would benefit from a small list of things to ‘check’ or do in my planner daily/weekly to get the most use out of it? Do you have any other ideas? I do have am/pm checkins as part of my routine. However, I’m usually doing this quick just to get going. If I have time to sit down and work in my planner, I tend to start ‘playing’ lol suggestions?

My win isn't small--30 years after graduating from college, I think I finally figured out what I want to be when I grow up (of course you don't really know until you actually do it). One of my steps this week is to reach out to at least one of the schools that I'm considering for my training with the questions I have regarding their program(s).

This is so good! I’m realizing that an after dinner routine is needed, where we immediately clean up the kitchen and the front room. That way everyone can pitch in and the kitchen is our most used room, and causes me the most anxiety when it’s a mess.

Win: helped my brother get his first win in the process he has been working hard on for a while. Routine to talk about, and add if you want to: self care, particularly the part that is health care that you just have a hiccup with doing it. It’s a particular personal care thing that I think most people do daily, and it is very hard to get started with doing, but I can do okay enough once I get started. Words for reminder of the start to the routine: prompts, cues, icons, etc.
@PlanwithLaken18 күн бұрын

@@PlanwithLaken now having seen the video after this one, I am more comfortable with saying that it is self care / health care that is hygiene related like tooth brushing and showering. Though I have been doing pt this summer that is a great way to find out if you’re able to do the sweating to the oldies thing, should you want to do that. It’s a lot easier to find the time to do the shower with that kind of activity every week twice a week, and finding that you prefer to smell nicer than that leaves you. So showers are less of a stressful thing than they were, but they are not a routine thing yet. Or maybe it’s just not a *daily* thing and that’s fine too. Okay, I think I am beginning to get/ remember this stuff again/ now.
