Yes, this was before New Game+ In New Game+ they will be harder and have more HP/Dmg, but you will also get more runes for each kill.

You shouldn't be locked out of any quest or factions by doing the UC Vanguard questline (they have a special icon in the quest log). You only get locked out of the crimson fleet if you decide to do the UC SecOps questline (the quests with the red skull icon) and sides with the UC near the end.

I just tested if it was possible and it seems like it is possible to jump off both of the balconies (there is one near the entrance to the penthouse and one at the opposite end of the penthouse) :-)

@@TheRealDarkruneDK right as i write this i finally found the way into that building from the bridge in alAnor Londo. I got to Anor Londo a long time ago but didn't find a way to proceed so I've been doing a lot of stuff I accidentaly skipped. Last session I only beat that headless dragon and before that i killed the Capra Demon

Double wield hammers and claw talisman for 1 hit kills on almost all. Awesome rune farm!

Best way if not starting as a samurai is to just get a weapon that has bleed on it already like the uchigatana or bloodhounds fang. Or if you've killed margit already just get the hook claws in the first room after taking the side entrance to the castle

Depends how you define the "best way", but I agree that the point is simply to get some weapon with bleed which will greatly speed up the kill time for Greyoll. I just went with the Curved Bandit Swords since they have great attack speed and you don't have to commit a whole lot of points in skills you don't want to use (I am running a mostly pure Faith build). Uchigatana is a good choice if you have already spent some points in Dex. Hookclaws requires a bit less Str than Uchigatana but about the same Dex. Bloodhount's Fang requires even more points in Dex and more in Str. Morning Star might be a better weapon if you are using strength and can be gotten at the Bridge of Sacrifice. Reduvia is also an option if you are going the Dex/Arc route... My point is it really depends on what built you are running and how many points you are willing to "sacrifice" to get the weapons to do the job if you are not using Dex (most bleed weapon requires Dex).

When you enter that boss room drop your spirit summons and then go after the dude with the staff. He is the ring leader. The other two are pretty dumb. Take out the staff guy first and the fight is much easier. Also the Crystalians take 5 hits to break their crystal shell. After that you will see your damage to them increase and they are much easier to kill.
