Just like most engineers, that one understood the assignment! (What times that I have had the most fun around trains is when there are multiple tracks and one train coming from One direction distracting somebody from the one coming behind them It is very fast and very silent and then that one coming from behind lays on the horn and scares the crap out of those not paying attention 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Great video! I'm stuck in Dublin currently, my flight from Newcastle was delayed so I missed my A330 to JFK (New York) according to TUI were flying on a Jet Blue service tomorrow instead. Excellent filming! 👍

I got incredibly lucky. I just arrived at my platform in a rush a few minutes before my train and saw this out of the corner of my eye so quickly grabbed the camera.

The first thing I say to Tommy every time we visit a station is that safety comes first. Safety over enjoyment every time. I (Dad) work on the railway so know very well the risks and would never put Tommy in danger. We use apps so we know exactly when a train is coming and he knows when the train is coming on our side to stand well back from the yellow line. Thank you for watching and for caring about my boy 💙👍🏼

@@TommysTrainsandPlanes You're welcome. I just know that a train moving at that speed can actually suck someone right off the platform. I know this because I am 5'9.5"tall and approximately 235 (ish) pounds And I have stood (behind the yellow line) legs shoulder width apart (maybe even a little bit more) one in front of the other and it rocks me back and forth. (I have also, been unfortunate enough to see videos of full grown "men" who have found themselves in the situation I was trying to warn you about. Glad to hear that you guys love trains and observe safely.

Tommy loves Widdrington Station because of the Level Crossing there. I (Daddy) like Pegswood as there's a cool curve of the track and the platform is wider/safer. Do you have a favourite?
