I just asked in a Logic Pro user forum if anyone was using a Streamdeck in their workflow, and two users replied yes, then gave Soundflow enthusiastic recommendations. I wish I knew about Soundflow before buying a Streamdeck. I have two iPads! Ah well. Looking forward to digging into this.

Very helpful video. Does SF have the ability to flash or change colors/brightness of StreamDeck buttons? For example a flashing solo cancel button whenever a track is soloed. Or different colors or brightness for active modules in Absenta DX?

That's a lot of turns for a complete 0-127. I don't see how that's useful in a real world environment. Needs to be adjustable for resolution.

Fwiw, close all floating windows in Logic is “Shift+click” on the close button of one of the open windows, yet that definitely doesn’t help with macros. Pretty cool you found a way to get that in there!

I do think we have people still using the workflow described here, but yes, for those who can use the Melodyne ARA workflow they might not need this package. Please keep in mind you're commenting on a 3 year old video.

@@adijames generally speaking, you'll get the best experience by either using SoundFlow or the Stream Deck app to control your Stream Decks. For a limited set of scenarios it's possible to use the apps together to control Stream Decks, but this is more complex to set up, and the feature shown in this video is not supported in that setup.

Hey, wondering if custom decks say 4 x 2 can be added to the Stream Deck +? I press show on deck and it goes to install a profile but doesn't work in the end.

Works nicely but it does not copy the icons into the new deck. It only copies the function oft the button. Maybe you can explain how to get the icons on the new location as well or am I doing sth wrong here?

Hi Freddie. If the icon is assigned correctly to the command in question, Add to Deck will indeed get the icon along with it and assign things correctly. I noticed you had asked a few questions like this on existing threads on the forum. The best way to get help if this isn't working for you is to start a new thread on our forum using our Help/Issue report, so we can take a look at the exact steps you're taking, to see where it goes wrong: soundflow.org/docs/help#help-issue

Hi William. This is a pretty old video. The issue described in the video was fixed in Pro Tools in 2022.5, if I remember correctly, after we announced the partnership with Avid - so no need to worry about it.
