Hi Mister, I have a Yamaha DT125R and it will only run with the choke even when the engine is warm if I turn the engine off it just dies? That is, I can drive the engine only with the lever on the carburator raised, and it happens that it lowers itself while driving and chokes and shuts down if I don't raise the lever in time while driving. When I drive like that on a straight road, it's not terrible, but in the hills it raises the temperature quickly. I'm curious if you had such a problem and how you solved it, and who understands these engines, how to solve it and see what the problem is**?**

Interesting..power curve must've felt like an older Diesel Transit with no Turbo where it gives torque right away and lowers down as the rpm's rise I'd imagine it's getting somewhere around 150-200MPG's?

DT125R was the best I have 4 , and a MTX , KMX , DTR was the best, my was all stolen an recovered apart from a couple, I had a DTR Exact same as that

Damn that 125lc is in good shape, I have a 1987 DT200L here in Canada, its basically the same bike as the 125lc just larger crankshaft and bore and alloy rims, we never had the 125lc in Canada, I buy alot 125lc parts for mine or Yamaha Blaster because the DT200 parts are impossible to get

Hi, I have a 1990 dt 200 r and having carb issues at mid - full throttle. How important is the washer under the main jet? Manual asks for #150 main jet and when I bought the bike it had a #115. I’ve spent the last few months rebuilding the bike and she’s almost ready.. this is the very last thing. Also thinking about deleting the coolant lines running to carb. Anything helps! I want a devmoto cdi for my DT200 37f, same harness as the 125lc 125, I have a tzr125 2rh cdi because they say it works for the 200L and 125lc but I cant get a spark

i messaged devmoto today about a cdi for DT200L, I put the motor in my Blaster and it will not stay running, it fires for 2 seconds tops and dies, its not the stator, coils, fuel problem and it has spark, but its weak, it has to be the cdi, I mean it is only 33 years old! if i have any questions Ill message you bud

I just wish I never sold my old 92 model DTR it was in white with red seat and red graphics, it went like shit of a shovel, best bike I ever had only sold it when gear box went after about 5 years of me totally abusing it off road, I used to get some right hang time on the jumps on it

I just got one of these... mines a 1hr french import on a 1991 French log book ... looking for some odds and sods it's a black plastics and red graphics and frame .. was the last year of manufacters for these 1991 and is it a mk2 or mk3 as i havent got a clue as last time I worked on one was when I was 12 when I had one as a field bike 38 years ago lol .. cheers
