Great share!!! Might you have GPS Coordinates of the entrance you turned onto or the name on the sign if there was one. Many Thanks! btw, is this also referred to as the Bisti Badlands area?
@ShenYe013 күн бұрын
The best way is to search "Valley of Dreams Trailhead" on Google Map, view map in Satellite mode and zoom in. You should see three cars parked there and the roads leading to it. There were no signs when we drove our Sienna to the trail head. The road condition was very poor at last stretch of the road. High clearance would be definitely helpful. This is not Bisti Badlands area which is next to HWY 371. I have a different video for that.

I grasp the concept but this helped put it into perspective. Now to figure out how to make both sides completed so it's the full cover of raw foam pieces I bought. I want to make a mattress topper in 1.5" foam not your full mattress 4" depth. I have the foam already & want to keep it under 6 inches when folded up to slip behind the RV drivers seat and dinette bench which is what I'm making the mat to fit when it's down to make a bed with the seat cushions from the bench. The seat cushions are too firm for most people to sleep comfortable on plus some have buttons that can poke sensitive people. (Think the princess and the pea story.) So here I am running through You tube videos searching for the perfect HOW to demonstration to make one from scratch start to finish. Your paper diagram is very helpful for sure. I'm a very experienced sewer for over 60 years now. I just upholstered 10 cushions and redesigned a Jack Knife sofa so it still works as a jack knife sofa into a full bed etc. But much better now to use as a twin bed too so people can sleep in twin beds with an isle they both can use to get up and use the restroom without disturbing the other person sleeping. It was quite the task because it included making lots of replacement decor fabric too. In all I used up all but about a yard of a 20 yard roll of a soft marine dove grey canvas fabric. It came out amazingly well. Very pleased with it all. Now I'm finishing up the little things so to speak. Making shoe bags to hang around under the sofa that I pre-planned ahead by adding loop velcro to the entire fabric trimmed box that makes storage and helps support the sofa. By doing two rows one at the top and one towards the floor I can now make a full length bag with pockets of customized sizes to stick up and have hold well. I used 1.5" of velcro. I did the loop on the trim because it does not pick up lint and hair like from pets and stays clean with brush or vacuum. The hook can be miserable to clean and keep clean not to mention grab hold of other materials like delicate fabrics and clothes people might wear or their fleece blankets etc. I do try to think ahead. I have a self inflating mat that's quite amazing and interesting to use on the sofa but it's too long for the other dinette bed. All the ones you buy are too long too. And usually too thick. I checked out the comfort of the extra padding and also how much space I can use behind the drivers seat. And still let the drivers seat adjust back if for a taller driver. That's how i came up with 1.5 and happen to have foam that thick that's got quite a lot of support too not just too soft. The plan is to smooth out the sleep surface and give some support not just bottom out as the saying goes. Thank you for your diagram and taking so much time to show us and explain it. I made a similar cushion in the late 70's but I just don't recall what or how I went about it. I do work a lot without patterns just know how and past experience. Thanks for your share and time.

How do you make the templates? Any ideas?
@ShenYe014 ай бұрын
It is not difficult. Get a thick paper larger than the window size, press against the window from inside, use your fingertip/fingernail trace around the edges. That will leave a trail line which you can cut to get a template.

How was the drive to Yosemite in the snow? Did you use your van ? Thanks for sharing your video I really enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

We did it with an AWD. Inside the park we did not use snow chains since we drove slowly and park service did a good job keeping the road clean. For photo purpose we wished otherwise, road covered with snow really looked beautiful.

Thank you for this, I wish I had found this video before purchasing the 100w panel. I also have never received meaningful responses form Jackery Support, it is the most disappointing thing about them. It would be so simple to answer email in detailed descriptions rather than quick snappy answers. I will go with Renogy or another company fro my next solar power station purchases.
