I think the fire fighters thing was more cause it would be hard to explain “hey, my friend made a bootleg Disney land that had a disaster and now you have to save everyone out but in a way that doesn’t make the situation worse since it’s a grease fire” and he just panicked. NGL, I know it was a creative decision not to make the characters with tails, but I honestly think it would’ve incremented their animal traits a lot more.

I love Mr Peanutbutter, he's exactly how you'd imagine a golden retriever with human intelligence to act, too bad he had the curse of living in California.

Oh, so the humanoid animals in the show still DO have some matching animal traits, both behavioral and anatomic? Because THAT brings out A LOT of questions. Humans can reproduce with these animal humanoids, sure, but where's the limit? Can a human reproduce with a humanoid scorpion or turtle? Are insects and reptilians hot-blooded in this world? As seen in the chicken farm scene, the difference between sapient "friend" animals and farmed "food" animals is a mix of hormones injected after birth. But how'd the society look before genetic engineering was a thing? Who did they eat? How'd the predator-prey dynamics work? What did the prehistoric times look like? Who did the cavemen hunt, and how?

I just noticed that Mr.peanutbutter sniffed the coffee cup on bojacks counter. I don’t know if I’m reading too much into this but is it possible this was foreshadowing that Beatrice had put something in the coffee? He clearly has a keen sense of smell and anyone who has ever put medicine in their pet’s food knows that even if they can’t see it they’ll smell it and know you did something to their food.
