Just trying to tweak the settings on mine. What are your retraction settings in the slicer you are using? I’ve been trying 1.5 with an acceleration speed of 35 mm but some have been doing a lot less retraction and say it’s not necessary. What are your thoughts, it looks like your prints look great!

Scaling is weird. So... the model in Blender is measured in meters, but the slicer program measures in millimeters. I want to insert a 1/8 inch metal rod through the model (it's a katana, so it's thin). However, I cannot quite convert the size of the rod relative to the size of the sword, especially when the measurements are messed up like this.
@boundlessperception146614 күн бұрын
@@ZombiePotatoSalad so when I'm unable to get an exact measurement I slice the model with a hole I think works and print a small section of it. Something that only takes 5 to 10 min to print. I see if the rod fits and adjust accordingly. Hope this helps you
@ZombiePotatoSalad14 күн бұрын
@@boundlessperception1466 Like making a test ring for a helmet. Good idea. The other part is making a channel that follows the curving of the blade, through the spine. The rod is flexible, so that helps.
@ZombiePotatoSalad14 күн бұрын
@@boundlessperception1466 The measurement should be easy enough. It's making a consistent hole through all the blade pieces of a katana, and the channel I'm cutting follows the curve of the blade.

Hello, (Comment translated, sorry if there are translation inconsistencies) I prefer to have a metal Keyblade for more strength and longevity but it's impossible to find one, the only Keyblade still on sale which are made of metal but I hate them (the keyblade in the video the handle is too thin while the real keyblade is thicker) There are a very large number of foam Keyblades and I would like to have some for decoration (not for fighting or playing) except that I have the impression that they are not even strong enough to keep them for several years on a wall Finally, I'm trying to find out if the foam keyblades are resistant.

If you don't have a Mac you don't have a Mac but it would be nice if you could make another video about LuBan with more detail.
