Can you please be more specific? I think you are right, and it is politically and religiously motivated, in my opinion. (As well as ego.) Though, most of my friends, here on the West Coast of the USA, don't really like to listen to music in foreign languages they don't understand. They also don't love when he sings "from the back of his throat" (opera-ish). It isn't music they are comfortable with, though they are usually impressed.

Lol. You haven't heard Dimash often. He sings in restaurants, hallways, airports... For Dimash, the high notes are easy. There is video of his teacher saying he told him not to sing the high notes, because it just wasn't done, but he would arrive to the school after the student, and there he heard him, still singing high. Before that, with a different teacher, they had him sometimes singing with the sopranos. Lol! Dimash has trained since he was 5 years old. He can do what he wants, though I think high notes might be getting harder. ❤

@@HappybdD_mash5-24 he is true baritone man .. tenor voice color is different from him .. I’m classical trained singer at college .. I can tell by his voice both high and low .. he has zero tenor .. he is singing whistle register and fake falsettos …

@@HappybdD_mash5-24 . Plus tenors don’t need a coach . They only need before untrained .. not like him who needs a coach all his life …tenors only need coach while learning mix voice that’s it

Well, he's good enough for singing together with one of the most famous opera singers alive. And no, I'm not fangirling, just stating a fact. Btw, please explain 'fake falsetto'
