Good information. Thx! I cannot find the gun-whale height of the 435 Whaly so I cannot determine which Bimini top would allow a 6’ man to walk under without crouching. Did u install the Ocean South 3-4 bow with a height of 54” or the 46”. (I’m guessing 54”??). Watching your videos have helped me with my purchase.

I really love your content! I asume your'e from the USA thats why I think its easier there to get parts. Sadly im from the Netherlands (Amsterdam) and getting parts here is difficult like those seats. Not alot of content on KZfaq about Whaly boats and people actually modifying them. Keep the hard work! You inspire me to modify my boat for the canals of Amsterdam!

I used to have a 17 foot rib. Man that thing gave me many problems with leaks but I absolutely loved the seaworthiness and stability of the hull design. I need to look into these Waleys, they look like a promising alternative. Love the videos, looking forward to the next one.

Where did you get that comfortable seat and how did you mount it?

Looking to get a whaly at some point, but currently i have a kayak. Ive had to plastic weld a few months ago. A tool you might want to add to your arsenal is a solderpro 120 portable soldering iron. I used mine with the blower tip and it worked absolutely amazing. Ive had the solderpro 120 for 10 or so years now and although a bit pricey compared to cheaper butane soldering irons, it will be worth the investment in the long run. The whaly would be my first 'boat', and im looking forward getting it, and modding it similar to yours. Keep up the good work!
