My biggest issue with Paphos is that its full of whinging whining ex-pats complaining that their pemsion doesnt go far these days. Peyia is a council estate in the sun. Horrible place. Coral Bay beach is one of the few redeeming featurss in Paphos

Hey how are you doing? The tuk tuk company was awesome actually!! We booked the tickets Iine on the official Sri Lanka rail website and then collected them the day before. It’s pretty much all “normal class” it’s all good, clean and generally awesome 😍😍

@@leeandlucytravel English Breakfast, Yorkshire pudding, shepherd’s pie, etc. I’ve heard of places such as Harrod’s Tea Room, Shakespeare and Co, and The Londoner. Idk if any of them are good, but they are popular places in Qatar for English cuisine. And BTW, I’m sorry, when I initially commented that, I taught y’all were English people living in Qatar. I just now looked more into your channel and realised that y’all are travellers, which means y’all won’t know much about it right?

@@Randomfellow9952there are places that do a great Sunday roast and English breakfast (without the pork bacon and sausage) red lion is a good start, fish and chips are hit and miss due to the relative scarcity of cod and haddock

I liked your video so much! supposedly this is a brand-new video and I don't know what exchange rate you have been given for currency, but 120 EGP is almost 2.4 USD for the official rate, roughly 1.5 that rate from other sources. Hi from the Uk 🇬🇧 we travel to SL July, do you think you got the food poisoning from street vendors or purchasing sandwiches? We were both very poorly in Jordan 🇯🇴 chemist said a local bug and never want to feel that way again. Hope tummy all good now. We bought antibiotics from Jordan and taking them with us

Thanks for watching, you will definitely love Sri Lanka. we eat street food from everywhere, without any problems, the food we had that morning, I don’t think would have affected me that quickly!! I would say it was from the street food we ate in Colombo the night before at Galle face green, it’s great but choose wisely as a lot of the food is cooked and recooked and cooked again (you’ll see what I mean when you’re there!!) After that day I was ok, lucy wasn’t affected at all and we ate pretty much the same . It could have been a bug also, but honestly I have NEVER felt so bad in all my life.

There is a village right beside kathikas called Thelectra in the bottom part of the village its amazing it was abandoned in 1953 but people are starting to do up the houses now and live there its a must see the name again is Thelectra village its down the hill the Greeks call it gado which means down in Greek the top new part of the village was built in 1953 when government moved the villagers from the bottom village up fascinating stuff

I was wondering why downtime Beirut looks deserted even though it was rebuilt after the civil war ! My friendly advice for you is to go for a ride on a speedboat or why not a fishing trip especially that the exchange rate is in your favour. Do also enjoy mountain resorts next summer or winter. Hi Lee and Lucy, I’m British and I lived for a while in Lebanon for work. Next time you are around, visit Byblos and Batroun to enjoy its beaches, great seafood, wineries and ancient beauty. Beirut is more for clubbing and nightlife. Hope you had an enjoyable time!
