You made it look so simple with removing that cable. I had a hard time removing it and even harder time putting that cable back. Do you have any suggestions?

A Pocket screw driver and patience is really the only way when working with the seat cables.
@MarkCowin
@MarkCowin 2 ай бұрын
I found a way to make the cable reconnection very easy. On the cable attached to the seat, there is a plastic rectangular carrier that has a pink plastic locking sleeve (this carrier is right next to the large spring on the cable). If you pop out the pink locking sleeve (by pushing from the back with a flathead screwdriver) you'll release tension on the cable and make it 1000% easier to rejoin the connectors. Sorry if the explanation isn't great - would be super simple to show in a video. Hopefully that gets you on the right track

It is a trim remover tool. You could also use a flat head screw driver but might scratch

Going to need a new motor. Mine is in the same position and is getting motor replaced this week at a Hyundai dealership. I have an extended warranty on my 2016 VT. It was making the exact same sound. That sound is an Engine Rod knock.
