I hope this is actually Wilco. The only time I can get my dbag brothers and dad to get together is when you guys come out with an album. They don’t even realize it. Thank you. And f u if u stole this,

Finally (respectfully) getting into their later stuff. I was a HUGE Uncle Tupelo fan - late 80s/early 90s. Wilco made a big impact. Being There filled with anthems and sounds that still vibrate. Jay Farrar and Son Volt was the melancholy step-brother that also owned a place in me. I got to meet Jay at a Gob Iron show in Brooklyn around 2005 (a band he formed with Anders Parker who was friends with a musician friend- got to hang with him before the show in a home setting). Saw Wilco in Minneapolis at the Walker music series- I taught preschool across the street, and the dad of one of my students ran the Walker, and gave me tickets. Always loved Jeff- I'm Trying to Break your Heart was epic. I recently watched the Jay Bennet documentary, and I have gotten a renewed love of those two albums. You Tube recommendations told me it's time to give this album a spin. Loving it.

I have listened to albums by Bob Dylan, the Beatles, the Beach Boys, Jimi Hendrix, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Neil Young, Tom Waits, Todd Rundgren, and the Idle Race. Wilco's (double) album 'Being There' is the strongest album I have ever heard.

Jeeeesus fucking Christ, I'm at least twice his age, and he is the songwriter this fucked up world has been waiting for. I kept thinking, the world is turning to shit, where is the great music? IT IS ALL HERE!!!! I love you Jesse! You are the hero we all needed!

This song gives me the chills and the video is perfection. I think that the choice to have Cate Le Bon produce this album was the smartest of moves. Looking so forward to seeing this track live in Chautauqua this summer - our kiddo's first Wilco show. He and I have watched this video numerous times, brilliantly executed from start to finish.

Btw Bebe Rexha has a suprisingly good song by the same name. It has some country vibe even though it is pop all the way. I'm a Wilco fan waiting for a record as good as "Wilco" and evetything before it. Meanwhile listening to the great genuine country music revival by the likes of Zach Ryan, Colter Wall, Oliver Anthony, Sierra Ferrel and Chris Stapleton.

Wilco, these days is very inconsistent out of 12 songs usually only one or two good ones if you go back to albums like sky blue sky, every song is good

The chords of this song are very simple but the piano 🎹 playing by Billy Preston and the john's voice make this song a masterpiece.
