I bought a very similar if not the same kit. Mine had lots of problems which I left in a review. It seems as though they fixed all those things. Great build and beautiful guitar.

Know this feeling. I bought one in Dark Cherry Metallic and just per chance lucked a darker shade of Laurel with my serial's fingerboard which is a better aesthetic match for the darker colour. Just one beautiful guitar in every sense, exceptional for the money.

@@lcglazer Neck dive? No neck dive. If anything with its tiny headstock, short scale & thin U neck, my G5232T is marginally body heavy. I did weigh it when I received it, but have forgotten precisely what it weighs now. Around 3.7kg (8.16lb) comes to mind off the top of my head. It's a comfortable weight. I remember it was marginally lighter than my heaviest Revstar (3.8kg or 8.38lb).

I have that on my previous video. This was just a follow up since I made the pick up rings with a 3D printer. At first I dremmeled some plastic. I do a sound comparison on that video. Spoiler. It’s much better.

I actually preferred the Tron sound. In a hollowbody, I don't think it needs fattening up. I'm getting a 5210t sent to me soon. It's a solid body with P90's. I think being a solid body, and more trebl-ey to begin with, it should balance it nicely as per the demo videos I've seen. I do much prefer the Dynasonic sound to the tron sound. Don't why Gretsch have gone crazy for the Trons. I pick up most Gretsch's and they don't feel right anymore. Anyway, still sounds good with the P90's, and thanks for the video. Very interesting! :)

Very cool man. If you do a 3D print you should put the specs on line. I was thinking about putting dog ear P90s in my 5120. Its black so maybe crome. See if I could find some used casino pups on line. I already have a casino so if it just sounded like a casino I'd have to go with something else. Maybe a DeArmond and a dog ear. Make it my poor mans Eddie Cochran model in black lol

I did make a 3d printed one and swapped the covers for chrome. I’ll make another video soon and show a print. I’ve been so busy I haven’t had time to play guitar never mind make videos. Hopefully that changes soon. I’d like to put out a video once a month.

Hi bro, Awesome video. I got gretsch 2410tg. Love this guitar but I want to put p90. I play epiphone wild cat and fell in love with the tone. But I didn't like the finish or lay out of guitar, where gretsch steals the show. Any suggestions

Hi there! happy new year :) I'm very glad I found this video. I have a G5230t and since the beginning I had problems with the bridge. There was some buzzing in the screw of the saddles (B and G string) I "fixed" it by adding some glue on it but in time to time I have to repeat the procedure. I wanted to replace the AMT bridge but the dimension seems to be smaller them most of them. in my case 73mm and 6mm. Most of the bridges I saw are 74 and I'm afraid they won't fit or I would need to drill new holes, etc. Could you please tell me, what exact model are you using? do you think it would fit on my guitar? Btw when I ordered my gretsch I knew I would have some tuning stability issues that why I bought a BiggsFix. It works great! I'm looking forward to hear from you. Greetings from Switzerland.
