It’s a good idea just its placement is terrible. It should be gotten from 2-5 places. Then even at 2nd place you still have to worry bout them and you can get more use out of them. Like a much better red shell.

I just hate it when I get a shocked locked behind it and then while trying to get rid of it someone else uses the shock. This has happened soooo many times to me it’s unbelievable

My least favorites were: 5. Rosalina’s Ice World - Such a wasted slot, definitely shouldn’t have replaced Piranha Plant Pipeline (also it looked better in MK7 lol) 4. Los Angeles Laps - This was the only Tour city track I played before it was added to 8, but it’s just really forgettable and boring 3. Tokyo Blur - The worst city course by a landslide, it has NOTHING. At least LA Laps had interesting music 2. Sunset Wilds - I don’t even like Super Circuit and this course is still awful, like how do you get rid of the MAIN GIMMICK OF THE COURSE when the *MOBILE GAME* had it? And it doesn’t even have an okay layout to make up for it like Sky Garden 1. Mario Circuit 3 - Oh great, the flattest and most boring course in any 3D kart racer I’ve ever played. JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED! It’s very rare for a Mario Kart track to have nothing to enjoy about it. At least Bowser Castle 2 had good music. At least N64 Rainbow Road has a cool ultra shortcut. At least Snow Land has a great remake. AT LEAST TOKYO BLUR HAS ELEVATION. Mario Circuit 3 looks like ass, has awful music by the standards of Mario Kart 8, has a pathetic layout, and is overall a complete waste of a slot just like it was on Wii! I mean I can just not play these but, you know, gotta rant somewhere
