I don’t get why you don’t just run the felt into the gutter. Putting in the drips 1st just creates a hallow for water to pond. Been felting 60years and I always run both layers into the gutter. Tidy job anyway mate
@AnthonyMcRedmond-Vg2ry2 ай бұрын
I have seen jobs done like this where heat escaping from the kitchen through the roof caused the glue soften and the rubber sheet lifting off so i thnk you would need very thick insulation to stop the heat going up through the roof

You can prime the concrete and torch a sanded base to it

oh, your standards allow overlap fusion. In my country this is an unacceptable defect. How strange the materials are similar sbs-bitumen and the standards are so different. hmm

What's the point of making reinforcement out of material with sprinkles? Why not do it as a whole sheet? it’s more reliable and faster and you don’t have to worry about using rollers.😮

Your work looks good to me but cross bonding is a no no. I personally would use a dry ridge as not sure how long the cement will last to the felt but good job overall 👍
