I guess you have to play some duels with a not cheap version of Ghoti with Psiics 🤷‍♂️

24:20 Ok as a shark duelist, this opponent deck fascinates me. That game was just a luck of "whoever goes first wins" which can happen from time to time. Great plays lasting that long though!

Pretty sure all the ghoti monsters are just pronounced "fish" as that's the whole naming gimmick. In various words each portion of their names make out the "f" "i" and "sh" sounds. Ghoti itself is Gh "f" like in enou"gh", O "ii" like in w"o"men, and ti "sh" like in attent"i"on. Every single ghoti named monster does this trick, I'm just too lazy to list them all lol.

loaner ice barrier was super easy to get all the gems. i beat every ghoti player with ease. they really out did themselves with the loaner decks lol i don't remember them being this strong.

Yo guys i am completely new to this Game and want to build my First Deck after solos and this looks fun + i love synchro decks. Whats the best way to get all cards mentioned? Buy the new pack till i get most of the needed cards and then craft the Rest? Thanks for the help 🙏🏽

Good shit. I call Psiics "Six" as a easy way to pronounce it. My list plays 1 of each ghoti so I can fit more non engine/extenders but your deck was neat for sure as a budget deck. Budget is a good thing to have with some of these new decks being 10+ URs just for engine stuff lol

Deep Beyond turn 0, crazy. . The Ghoti Loaner from the event is a good reference if you want to build an affordable Ghoti deck.

The first Icejade player didn't know how to fully utilize Gymir, nor did he know the archetype's strengths. Against Ghotis, using the lvl 5's in grave effect to return Aegerine to the field would've been a better play because Gymir's secret effect to return herself when the opponent banishes. It's also a good play if you haven't already activated Aegirine's on summon effect to continue searching spells to use next turn. The second Icejade player made the wrong judgement to searching Kosmachlor instead of Ran to threaten making Gymir after Ghoti summons their Boss to banish the entire field. (The best part of the lock to get against ghoti is the continuous spell and field spell active with any icejade is on field because it stops monsters from activating effects the turn summoned, best case monster is Gymir with second best and/or main starter Aegirine)

The level 1 fishborg is a must in this deck as is beautunaful.

The white fish haven't really clicked with me. It feels like they enable 3 card combos and I think that says it all. But I've kinda grown fond of the lvl.4 tuner fishborg. I'm also questioning why Kiifff isn't a tuner.

Have you considered dimension fissure? its nuts, banished all monsters sent to graveyard. counters many decks, works well with ghoti. also love the commenting, I learned a lot!

from my own testing hexa feels a lot like a brick, drawing four cards doesn't do a lot in this deck if you have already normal summoned(maybe its good for a One for One line but i digress). if you have to send the mirror mage to get it on the field you cant get winds over the ice barrier that can summon warlock of the ice barrier(antispell) from the deck. revealer is definitely the greater starter, but summon mirror mage, tribute revealer, summon tokens x3, summon coral, get winds, activate winds tributing x2 tokens, summon warlock and speaker, make lancea, summon speaker token. this still gets to draw one

Dude, you need to rethink Psiics and Kerf, they create awesome lines getting you straight to either a synchro 8 or 10 depending, they all synergies off each other Kerf is crazy. test a deck with mainly ghoti to get synergies going. Gold sarc and crossout are musts1

29:00 this 100%, its embarasing to admit but while playing branded i had so many moments with like less than 2 seconds on timer and no time time resolve "mp3" effects and if there was any mandatory effect that could not be skipped it was over for me xD

Deck list could use some love. Abyss Shark is a great add since it acts as a copy of sunfish and an extra body to allow anemone plays. If you don’t have plays you can use him and angler for kragen. Harpooner is also really good in the deck even as a one of. No reasons at all to run 3 of each main tuner. Slots for stardusts are also kind of a waste when you could use them for links anemone and abyss keeper. Finally I’m not even sure your current deck list could summon Trish lol
