i still feel like the double pistol is a little weak and unpreffered over the blunderbuss or normal pistol but i use the throwing knife all the time especially agains the ashen lords it makes that fight a legitimate joke i have only seen the horn of fair winds once i've always tried looking for it but never seen it apart from once at the beginning of the season i use harpoon tightrope walking alot especially when i don't have a sword equipped there is only one zipline i use at ome of the outposts thats about it bonecallers are interesting i love them for boarding in pvp a nice distraction so i can board safely and cause havoc

the new weapons are sadly another disappointment compared to the old ones they are inferior. the harpoon boarding most of the time is ruined due to waves in a PVP battle. the horn of fair winds is an lame. it just gives you what the sailing winds would give to your sails on your ship so it doesn't stack with the normal wind to make your ship ZOOM across the seas

I finished the grind for the 100 horn of fair winds, method used: Hop with a gold hoarders dive voyage (basic one) to an island close to any Shrine, after that I went to check the shrine if a horn spawned would get it and sell it and repeat this cycle. For info and rate of horn spawns: About 8 and a half hours I found 20 horns did about 100 hops (100 shrines checked), I found this more efficient than diving for the tall tale at shipwreck and always checking the Flooded Embrace shrine :)

Ziplines are useless. They need more of them and let us go up them. That would be perfect.

I found the wind caller once on a sunken ship and haven’t seen anyone else that has had it before

I think this season has been ok but my biggest complaint with it is the lack of new emissary rewards. They have been the only reason I play the game in between major updates so I just have nothing to do in the game at the moment. Which is sad because the game is good.

I think an issue that a lot of people overlook is the community managers and moderators that have gotten too comfortable and feel like they can’t be fired because they’re all buddies with the rest of the staff. They ruin the experience for a LOT of people in their official discord especially. I’ve seen CM’s call people stupid, ban/mute people and then make fun of them in chat afterwards. They’re extremely dismissive.. they’ll tell you what they think of you and then tell you to “move on” so that there can be no conversation. They have strong opinions and they will not let you inform or correct them if they’re wrong. Too much about moderation comes down to the personal feelings of the person moderating. You can be getting harassed by someone in public channels and they will tell you to block them and move on but will not tell the offender to stop harassing you. So we have freedom to talk about it until they say we don’t anymore. They see a conversation as a heated argument and shut it down instead of just talking it out. I’ve seen completely respectful people try to explain themselves to a moderator/CM nicely only to be told not fight with them. I blocked someone once for being hyper active in the server.. they know they are blocked by me but would respond to my questions anyways. I can’t see the blocked response but also I won’t get a response from someone unblocked because to them, I was answered already. I asked them to stop it. They said no, I explained why I wanted them to stop. A CM said it’s a public channel and anyone can answer. I again explain that it means I won’t get unblocked replies, they tell me to move on. So now I just still have that issue but can’t talk in there about it.😅 at what point is what he doing going to be considered harassment?

Weirdly... not seeing this much. The only bug I'm seeing lately is just the waves being still. We fixed that by diving once.

this happened to me yesterday, I tought it was my game but the other guy was having the same bug, it sucks because I just started to play this game and I wanted to try pvp to find these bugs, lol

Xbox is gest rubberbanding it is unplayable

I must say the Ps5 Version runs much better than the Pc/Xbox Version for me. Maybe because its newer.

I play 2 years ago on pc and since ps5 release on Ps5 and im happy i didnt have any bugs/glitches etc. Only thing is sometimes a lag but its only a second and that was it.

i wasnt even using HG my homie and I were just sailing and the waves started moving backwards, then the ship started flying, then it just dove under the water and then surfaced and sailed normally

I think the bugs make it even more fun

I don’t know why everyone’s talking about sot bugs I never experience them I’ve got fairly decent WiFi and I never lag and I never get bugs maybe I don’t play enough to experience it

The frozen ocean and weird physics were sooooo disorienting when I experienced it recently lol

Unpopular opinion; Peak SoT was before the season pass bs. Every update after that made the game more unstable, ruined the lore, made the game too fast paced, introduced cheaters etc

The 2 worse glitches I've seen is my pirate being out of phase with the waves and the pocket watch animations are missing entirely

When I got my ghost curse in Season 11's community day I got so many bugs like not being able to interact with my anchor, or my map table. It was horrendous.

They are messing with stuff behind the scenes to try and improve hit registration but whatever they did increased water desync issues this is probably exacerbated by diving which seems to make the gameplay experience worse after every dive.

I had the exact same thing happen to me when coming up for an HG match. Ship spun in circles and the sea was in the sky and the stars were under my boat.

i dont care about the pirate log or any of that cuz i rarely check it, but the first part of the video is 100% needed, we used to make 3 or 4 clicks to start playing and the loadtimes were faster, now you have to click more than 10 times and wait between some of those and that just gives me more time to think if i really want to get into the game just to crash every time im fighting someone
