My ps4 slim just died literally like not turning on, power supply replacement is pretty expensive and not even original. Hope im anle to get it fixed.

Got an Xbox One X for $30 off Mercari, plus $15 shipped. It had an overheating issue and had taken a fall, cracked the outer case. I superglued the broken pieces of the outer case together, cleaned all the dust out of the system, repasted the CPU and replaced the thermal pads. I found that the internal fan was burnt out as well. I got used fan off eBay, cleaned that, and SSD swapped the internal drive. Loving it so far and I have a lot of games to catch up on. Having the 4K will keep me busy as I save for a Series X.

Xbox has plenty of games this gen now and incoming. Only sony has no games. They have the least active player base with the least amount of games and they're making the least amount of profit. On top of that...they fudged their console sales numbers...plainly.. they lied to everyone. Xbox is absolutely doing better this gen and moving forward. Obviously. Sony can only afford to advertise anti xbox propaganda and cant make a game to save their brand. Its comical, actually. Bungie is garbage btw... and thats sonys most active studio. I think the biggest reasons for this is gaming had the best game from ps1-ps3 era and somewhat ps4 but graphically games can’t look much better then they did on Xbox one and ps4 so what are really upgrading for?

I’m not a fan of the Switch lite but I get why some people would prefer it over the standard and OLED model but the docking feature is a huge reason and that’s a dealbreaker for me and I love my OLED model.

PS4 was the console that finally pushed me back to Nintendo for good and I don’t plan on coming back to PlayStation.

The writing is on the wall concerning the 9th Gen Consoles & beyond. The Publishers are concerned with one thing only. (PROFIT & MORE PROFIT). Microsoft was wise to play the long game with GamePass because Xbox have not historically outsold the PlayStation brand. They have increased all tiers of GamePass over the past few years & will continue to push the envelope. Sony's PlayStation Plus service has increased all tiers as well without really offering anymore value. The corporate idea is "Kill physical media then make them pay more for owning nothing." It's called planned obsolescence. With previous generation consoles, you could pop in a disc or cartridge then immediately play the game in complete immersion. No required paid subscriptions, delays of updates, no game server outages, no network outages or anything; just play the game & have fun. Its gotten so bad that they don't even put the entire game on the disc anymore. My point is that these companies don't want their consumers to own anything. They just want mindless sheep purchasing whatever they produce; good, bad or lackluster. We only own the license to purchase an individual copy of games we buy until the company that owns the rights is sold or shuts down. I'm a physical game collector who also has a digital games library as well. There one thing that I do know is that my physical games still play as long as I have hardware to play them on. I can't say the same for digital games. The 9th generation of consoles foreshadows a bleak future of console gaming. I agree that both the PS5 & Xbox Series X are no more than glorified PS4 Pros or Xbox One Xs.

Basically, the reason so many gamers won't upgrade from the PS4 to the PS5 is because the PS5 just doesn't have the expansive library worth of quality games that the PS4 has.

Imagine complaining about people with less money getting to play the same games. I own a PC every new generation is the same for me, unless I upgrade hardware.

I find it odd how Quantum Break is barely talked about especially since it’s a Remedy game. Always thought it looked good and think it mostly got solid reviews. Burnout Paradise is cool because it’s one of the few earlier multiplat games that used the PS3 instead of the 360 as lead platform. Also heard some Burnout fans weren’t happy about some minor changes in the remaster so you made a good choice going with the original. Ah the GameStop case. We have all been there with getting it only because we needed one more game for a deal 😂. We all hate them but it’s just funny to have one or two around in the collection. I had to buy sleeping dogs in one of them for a deal and I told myself I’d replace it but nope still sitting there lol.

Switch is not a modern console or modern gaming and i would definitely choose a series S over this as the best deal in gaming. I have the OG switch and it was outdated when it released back in 2017, but it’s still a good console with great games. I would just hold off for the next Nintendo console.

In my country, one of our biggest video game retailers in Data Blitz (basically my country’s GameStop) has all Switch models permanently marked down. So the Switch Lite is at roughly $155 converted, and the OLED is at $245. I recently upgraded to the OLED from my standard V2 Switch and I have no regrets. I got a further discount on the OLED so I got it for around $237. For me, the Switch Lite’s pure handheld mode was a dealbreaker as even though I play in handheld 90% of the time, I still use docked mode quite often especially when I have friends over. That really is my only problem with the Lite, as everything else about it I still think is fantastic. I would have been perfectly fine with the Lite’s smaller size (esp since my hands are on the smaller side) if it had an option to be docked, even via one of those USB C to HDMI converter plugs.

I got a usb c adapter for the 1000 vita. It works great and I didn’t have to mod my vita hardware for it to work. now I can charge my ps vita via usb c.

I just bought this same bundle from Walmart 3 hours ago . I figure worse case scenario if I get drift or something just sell the console with the cosmetics of animal crossing and hope to get $100 plus back . Also the charging brick was a big addition too as well as a Nintendo first party IP game
