I'm working on something similar.. just a female head I drew when I was 15 and about a year ago I rendered it digitally in colour to get the values for when I started airbrushing it.. well its been a pig to do because I made alterations in the digital version and creating the exact colours let alone giving all the blurring and smudging techniques I created in photoshop.. I can't bring myself to just do it.. I got to do it the same... and I'm doing it on canvas board .. layers of gesso.. its a nightmare and then you come on and make look so easy...

Retired in 2020 auto collision painter, now trying my hand at airbrushing! Just got the neoeco, cleaning the hell out of it in-between colors and even more when done with a session..still tend to have spitting and alot of tip drying. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated..I don't think I found my sweet spot with psi or mixing ratio..Haven't made a huge investment SOO I'm spraying a cheaper brand paint( still airbrush paint)such as Xdovet and Roizefar. Basic 1 to 1 with distilled water! Getting a little spider webbing but mostly spitting, tip dry and inconsistent paint flow! Can ya help pls... Doing mostly motorcycle stuff, parts, helmets ect..Bikers tend to be alil pissy when their stuff isn't 90 to 100% correct( + I don't want shotty work out there)and done in a timely manner..😮
