That looks delicious. I’ve never made this but I am now. (I’ve only eaten it at a restaurant.). But I’m going to add yellow and orange peppers I don’t really care for the green ones.

Good effort but this is not an optimized recipe here. Some very critical elements are missing. For anyone making this, add 2 teaspoons of baking soda to the marinade, no more! and marinate it for 4-12 hours. And then in making the stir fry sauce, half the 2 soy sauces and add a tablespoon of oyster sauce and a tablespoon of hoisin sauce and a tablespoon of water. With these modifications both the tenderness and the flavor will be far superior. That’s where it’s at. The tenderness of the beef plus outstanding flavor which will not be achieved without some sweetness balancing out the saltiness of the soy sauces.

I just bought a house and have a tree like these with these same looking fruits. They are green and very firm still. How do I know when I can harvest?
@may.africa25 күн бұрын
They turn yellow orange. You can harvest them with a little firmness, coz they stock quite long, like apples.
@staywoke219822 күн бұрын
@@may.africa appreciate it. They have been green on the tree for a couple weeks now it seems. Haven’t seen any change color but there are some rotted ones that are orange color on the ground below the tree. Think squirrels are getting to them

May, your finished product looks so fresh, colorful and delicious, more than any other recipe that I have seen on the channel. Then, and this is a big deal, thank you so much for your cleanliness, in putting on gloves, while marinating the meat. So many cooks are comfortable putting their bare hands directly in the food and to me, it just seems so unsanitary. You are an excellent cook and I look forward to watching more of your videos.

I think the varieties you have require less chill hours to produce fruit. Chill hours are everything below 45 degrees Fahrenheit. Thanks
@lorenbush8876Ай бұрын
Most citrus trees are polyembryonic and if they are you will get more than one seedling from each of those seeds, if I remember the biggest ones are exact clones of the parent and the smaller one is not an exact clone. You are right ,cuttings is 100% no matter what. The way I've been doing it is to strip the green back about an inch down to the white woody or more solid part, I call it the cortex and just put it in glass with enough rain water in it to submerge where you scraped the green material off and wait until it forms roots. I would just put one cutting per glass because the roots seep to be delicate and break off fairly easily, hopefully they will harden up after they are in some potting soil and out of just water.

Kari starfruit is supposed to be the sweetest variety. What soil mixture are you using to grow your starfruit tree in, also how big is the pot? Thanks and thanks for sharing with everyone.
