Bro, you have 30% use with 90*C. You need change your CPU's grease or blow-up the fan. Either way, GPU is on almost 100%. CPU wont make a difference.

I have 15yo laptop with the same CPU, benchmark on HD resolution(1280x720) with high texture settings. 40-45 fps on average GTA V isn't CPU heavy. My GPU is almost always on 100%. CPU about 40%(Intel HD Graphics 4000) Nvidia GeForce GT 635M Minecraft consumes a lot of CPU, especially if you playing on mods. I play on 200 mods mostly with steady 60fps, but sometimes there is lag or framerate loss. My GPU playing MC mostly rests (25-50%) 1600x900px I need point out I spend a lot of time of optimizing my laptop. In every way... Researching KZfaq is exhausting... Only thing I could improve is change processor thermal grease, debloat windows and add ventilation around my laptop via standing fan. I already have laptop stand with build in 2 small fans which are blowing onto bottom of laptop. It's powered from USB port. Once every 2-3 years I clean laptop from inside. You know.., everyone needs to shower sometimes 😅 My own tip, When entering GTA or MC I open TaskManager ctr+shift+esc -> details and setting process priority to high.

Bc of weak GPU I cant play Minecraft with weakest Slidur's shaders on lowest settings. Everything turned-off except of only shadows. In dark spaces fps isnt bad, but in open space when sun is above horizon my GPU goes 100% and framerate is not smooth. Weakest shaders doesnt looks that much good so I rather would have smooth fps and dynamic lights.

What if you like did that and leave the airbox away and put big ass velocity stacks, with a stock ecu tho. Would it stil work or would you need a tune/remap?

I used the same throttles on a m40 in an e30, I opened up there spacing though and used the injector holes in the throttles as it's more favorable to run the injector away from head, I made the intake from alloy , your plenum volume is too small you need more volume and also not to aim the entry at any ports, definitely a cool project with the 3d printed parts , once you go stand alone computer your going to notice lots more power and drivability,

Amazing work. This might be a stretch but is there any way you could share with me / I could purchase the 3D design files from you? Working on a similar project for a Lemons race team and this would save a TON fo time prototyping!

What a well designed unit! It looks like it fits very well in the stock engine bay. What did you use for the 3D scan of the engine bay? I bet it helped during the design phase :D We are doing an e36 race build with an m42b18 with some friends and just talked about 3D printing an airbox with shorter runners for high rpm when we stumbled upon your videos. What you achieved is pretty much our dream now :D Is there any way we can contact you and talk about your project? It would be huge for us both in experience and motivation! All the best with v4 until then, looking forward to seeing it!

This is some seriously cool work. Good to see that you can print stuff that works so well in an engine bay What photogrammetry software do you use?
@_coffeeandcigars
@_coffeeandcigars 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah the polyamide stuff is pretty similiar to what oems use. My m52s manifold is made from pa66-gf, so pa6 with fibers isnt hugely different. Its awesome that we have the technology to use these materisls at home =D The scan was done in meshroom.
@TheIamgibbo
@TheIamgibbo 2 жыл бұрын
@@_coffeeandcigars that's awesome. It's pretty impressive how technology means you can now design and print this stuff at home vs needing to have it cast elsewhere Do you have an engineering background or is it just a hobby?
