except for 'hammersmith and city lines' i actually didnt mind it. its when they changed it the second time with a new 'this is an elizabeth line service to' and 'the next station is' 'we are now arriving at' and more where it got real ugly. next up 'this train calls at woolwich, custom house, canary wharf, whitechapel, liverpool street...' all the way

Shame that TFL do what they usually do, kill the good routes to make them useless or not that reliable. Why would they cut this to Battersea? Still, the route is rather long even from Battersea and I guess it made it oess busier.

Hey I just thought of an interesting race. Southgate to Colindale. Bus vs Train Train: Piccadilly and Nothern Line via Kings Cross St Pancreas. Bus: 125 direct journey

It's so hard to catch a Piccadilly line train to Uxbridge your best answer is Rayners Lane and then use the Met trains. But honestly the bus is overall cheaper and simpler. We all knew the bus is slower especially during the day. Also it depends how TFL operates it. But honestly if I'm going to Heathrow from Ruislip. Im using the 278, the Piccadilly line has too many stations to call and it gets too crowded since it's a Heathrow train. Also another option which I think can save you time is taking the 278 to Hayes and Harlington and use the Elizabeth line, it's only one stop. Depends on the time of arrival for the train. But hey that's an option.

I like that they changed it to include the name of the line. I hoped they would add the name of the line in eventually. This is an Elizabeth line service to Reading. It's similar to how they do the S Stock announcements.

Amazing to see this bus journey. I've never seen a Wright Eclipse do 3 only the Wright StreetLites on it. A super rare allocation or First Berkshire trying it on 3 for the first time.

Update on the A10 four years later: Alexander Dennis Enviro 400 is now allocated to run alongside the Enviro 200s and are slowly becoming more common in the A10 I forgot to mention so Edit: Alexander Dennis E200MMCs are allocated to A10 As well U3 also Has Enviro 400s on the route
