This is a 2205 turntable. AG2005 is the turntable, and AG2205 is the AG2005 turntable with this black plinth I have both, the 2005 went with an AG9128 radio.

Eén van de fraaiste koffergrammofoons qua weergave. Mits de versterker grondig is gereviseerd. Heb er vele gehad. Zeker voor jazz zijn ze zeer geschikt.

The tonearm is more gently, than in other changers, where it is falling fast...

How lovely to see my grandfather's invention in motion. My late father Brian Mortimer (Garrard Quality Manager) and my son Ciaran were servicing and rebuilding the original prototype when my father's health sadly deteriorated. Mum, Ciaran and I are hoping to sort it out soon and have it on display somewhere suitable we hope. It's wonderful to see people still appreciating the work of Garrard ❤

What a unique record player! The platter is revolving counter-clockwise, and there is no apparent tonearm -- only what looks like the base of where a tonearm would be mounted. How can this be?
