May I also ask what the ingredients are for? Thank you
@NeutralDIY3 күн бұрын
If you mean the ingredients in the thumbnail? They are what I used to make the matte medium. It is a DIY I made because I couldn’t find a matte medium that was truly matte.
@artofellachristina4 күн бұрын
Hi! I’d like to ask how you use the medium. So, you use it as glue or general adhesive? I’m asking to understand how I can tweak your formula to my use case
@NeutralDIY3 күн бұрын
Hi! So sorry for the late reply. You can use it as an adhesive and also on your collages or any surface as a sealer or varnish to give a matte finish. Thanks so much for watching! 💕

Ahhhh, we all go through that, no inspiration, no motivation and who cares attitude. That's because a creative mind sometimes needs that time to recharge and care about stuff all over again. And you will! You do beautiful work, and have ideas that I think sometimes how'd she come up with that ! My passion, the faux leather from paper and traveler's notebooks and inserts . I always will push for that! Best of the day! Kathy

Loved the finish you got here! This is exactly what I was looking for! Do you think this would work fine to firmly paste glitter?
@NeutralDIY4 күн бұрын
Thank you so much! I don’t use much glitter but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. It should work just fine for glitter. Just like any glue you may need several coats if you don’t want to feel the glitter. Thank you so much for watching!! 💕

I made faux leather this last Thursday! I thought about my dad, and went into his shoe shine box. Dragged out his brown shoe polish. A little messy, but i love the way it turned out! I have to go back and use some glue or top coat! I also used blue on another big paper bag! I still want to do a red, and pink, etc.! They look good! Thanks for your inspiration! I guess im coming out of a rut! Pushing along! I like yours too!

Hi there! Nice Haul I bought some of those wooden cubes a month ago and still don't know what to do with them😅 I could use some of those drawers but have never seen them before . I make my own inks too but didn't have luck with the spray bottle. Didn't like the way it sprays out and they clock fast. I have most definitely look out for those envelopes. Been meaning to get the canvas foe a while now. TFS

Girl! I love dollar tree but I get in trouble every time I go to that store; I end up spending more than I was willing. I have been looking for those big peg plastic boards but I never find them in my dollar tree. I have the accessories though, just not the large peg boards. Anyway, great haul, enjoy all the goodies. Also, can you please link the video of the person who makes the pockets out of those wax squares. Thanks! And thank you for sharing. I'm new to your channel and am enjoying them very much. I love your voice. :)

Yes! Love Dollar Tree! I can’t stay away from that place especially since my fav store Tuesday Morning closed. Still so sad about that 😩. Anyway, here is the video for the pockets made with the wax squares. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gcB0qMShp9LedIE.htmlsi=gdnVgB1WCCssFO6k it’s a Betty’s Custom Designs video, not sure if you know of her. I love this video, thank you so much for sharing. I can't wait to create a journal with this technique of faux leather, it really looks like leather and has that vintage look to it as well. And by the way, I love your voice and no you're not boring nor do you talk too much as you say. You're just fine and your videos are appreciated. You are very informative and inspirational and your sense of humor is a plus. :)

can cornstarch overtime on your crafts or stored in this recipe mold? im super curious on that. can this be subbed for plaster of paris cuz i have that. let me know! thank you for this video!
@NeutralDIY2 ай бұрын
I don’t think the corn starch would mold however if you use regular tap water that may cause your matte medium to mold due to the bacteria. This is why I only use distilled water or you can use bottled water. Yes, plaster if Paris can be used in place of corn starch. I have seen it used in other videos. Thank you for watching! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video. 💕

@@NeutralDIY Thank you for your soon reply! wow, if it's strong enough to stand foot traffic, it will be perfect as wallpaper!
@NeutralDIY2 ай бұрын
Yes! It works great on the floor. The videos I’ve seen, they put a few coats of varnish on top to make it stronger. Without a varnish it probably wouldn’t hold up for long. I plan to do this on my floor when I finally buy a house!

Does it matter the weight or heaviness of the brown paper bag?
