I finally, found it! I used to listen to this song from a casette tape in the late 80's (about a girl who misses her father)... The melody and its refrain stuck in my head for more than three decades, especially today, that it's my father's birth anniversary.

When I was in elementary school, this cassette tape was on the top of a pile of junk, and I was intrigued by the magical atmosphere of the jacket, so I took it home and listened to it. I'm Japanese, but this cassette tape also has a Japanese version. When I played "across the sky", I remembered the Japanese version that I loved once upon a time.（JPver title 空を翔けて）same melodies same jacket

@@minakoaino3917 thank you so much I found it！I recently learned for the first time that this song also has several English, Potogues, other languages. I was still an impressionable junior high school student at this time, and I was just getting into acoustic guitar, which I had just started playing. The lyric cards had guitar chords written on them, so I ended up playing along. That's why I remembered this album so vividly. I guess they know very well that music can move people's hearts so strongly.

This sounds like your lost in a blizzard on the top of a mountain. No food your travelling companions are dead it’s freezing your giving up hope. But then outta the winter storm comes a wizard or something (I picture a frost dragon) and rescues you from the cold and seemingly in a instant your at the foot of the mountain not far from the nearest village.
