I've got a catalpa tree snag surrounded by living sycamore, redwood and catalpa trees in my yard and since it died seven years ago it has become a wildlife skyscraper/magnet. I'm grateful it is in a place where I can safely leave it standing to provide habitat. ❤

I am so grateful I live in New England! I was out hiking today and came across a deer no more than 10 feet from me and a beautiful bald eagle perched way up in the tree. You all are the best for what you do. Saving every species is so important and I loved watching you on the Game Warden tv shows! Got me through the 2 years of Covid lockdown!! ❣️😁🤙

I suppose, without really knowing for sure, that being the "Live Free or Die" state is the reason NH Fish and Game for decades now have been telling residents to take down their bird feeders in the spring , but in all that time hasn't been able to get some kind of legislation passed .

Squirrels have disappeared here in my neck of the woods in NH, not one seen since Sept 8 of 2023, Which correlated with a neighbour cutting down about 20 trees to plonk a solar panel the size of a barn on their property, works real well with the covering of the Sun, I'm sure - and the lighting storm on the 8th, since then there are no No Gray Squirrels or Red little Squirrels None all, zip, nothing not a ONE. I now find out they 're also hunted. So someone could of been here hunting because I don't have signs all over the place on my property stating noHunting, which is absurd I have to put signs up, otherwise people can tramp around shooting animals on the land I pay taxes for.

In my opinion, this man is sick. He is having fun with his big rifle, which means he must be small in other areas, baiting and killing hungry innocent animals. Fish and Game does not "manage" coyotes. It is a free-for-all killing with no reporting. That is not management.

This is just example of how NH F&G does not represent the beliefs of the majority of NH residents. A small percentage of the population loves to kill and maim wildlife. Apparently so does F&G. Coyotes are a vital component of the ecosystem and keep other population in check. Baiting and killing them like this is not sporting nor ethical. And you put this up on your own feed to represent wildlife management? This whole system has to change and hopefully in a few generations it will.

The premise of this video is false. Killing coyotes is not an effective population management strategy. Habituating a coyote to bait and then ambushing it at night at only 100 yds with a night scope is not "sport", It is execution! An overweight guy using an ATV to get through the snow and shooting a coyote at a bait stand is the furthest thing from "fair chase". Not sure why NHFG promotes this kind of slaughter.

I'm so grateful for the work you'all do! I was so inspired by these plovers I had to write a children's book about them. My hope is to educate and raise awareness. I can't tell you how many times I have stopped children from chasing them. One year the kids had a fishing net and were trying to catch one with it 😮
