@@Mnstrpitbull Do you know of any truck campers that come with more than 100 or 200 amount hours of batteries? Seems like they are all pretty wimpy in that department, though found out Cirrus does offer a 500 amp hour battery package from factory.

@@kimbalgoeke7998 unfortunately all manufacturers are doing whimpy solar builds. The solar they are talking about is just to run a fridge or keep house batteries charged when not in use. The technology is really available but you would either have to do it yourself or contact an rv solar installer. Actually thinking about it as much as they miss in manufacturing maybe we don't want them installing solar. There are batteries on the market today that are the same size as their house battery but are 300 ah instead of 100 ah plus they have built it battery warmers for cold climate.

I think the upgrade retails for $10k. Any thoughts/comments on the weight of the Cirrus? They appear to be significantly heavier than their competitors are, thanks again!

@@kimbalgoeke7998 did they add more solar panels and 3000 watt multi-plus so assuming it's victron which is a plus. As far as weight I would move to f550 or 5500 truck if you want to tow anything.

I'm not sure that I'd sleep well with a lithium battery under the bed. It should be contained outside of the unit in a fireproof box.

handles can be swapped out...But yes we agree..We will mention that to NuCamp..Bigger fridge makes less room else where..So its always a give and take..

I'm tired of seeing all the negative comments on the price of the Barefoot everywhere I look. This is an extremely high quality built camper with high end components like the Alde and Isotherm fridge. Please do research before you pass judgement on the price.

The Bushwacker teardrop trailers are nice, until you thoroughly look at them closely like getting underneath checking everything etc., personally I know from experience because I own one and before I even got to use it the water tank was cracked the seals leaked the sink leaked also on the front where the plastic rock guard comes down at the very bottom if you look all they used was housewrap which is basically a plastic tarp which will tear & water will come into your floorboards, why would they do something so cheap?, They installed my water tank knowing it was cracked and they did a botched job putting glue on it, and obviously the glue wouldn’t stick, it’s a shame and I’m starting to see how these trailer companies they don’t care about their customers or their product I don’t even know how they can get away with this, they hardly back up there #Warranty which doesn’t mean squat, I’m surprised they don’t have lots of lawsuits against them maybe they do? And I don’t know how you trailer dealerships have to deal with all these problems I feel sorry for you guys what you must have to go through from every sale, I literally brought mine home and found over 20 things wrong with the trailer, and I’ve worked on it every day for over 10 days repairing and fixing things and that’s a lot of work that I have to do when I spent $15,000 on a trailer, I wish I did more research I’m sure someone makes a high quality product but as far as I’m concerned I don’t recommend Bushwacker trailer personally from the factory I think they’re junk, I happen to be a very mechanical guy and I guess you could say this is a good base to build on, but for someone that works full-time and maybe every once a while the weekends goes away somewhere with the trailer those folks don’t have time to do all these repairs let alone take it back to a dealership and wait for them to fix it wait for them to get parts etc. and I’ve spoken to so many people that I’ve gone through the same thing, I am not happy with Bushwacker, When you watch the videos in the presentation it’s very glamorous but the bottom line is they put together like crap. some people will say it’s because it’s affordable, $15,000 is a lot of money to take some thing home immediately and then have to repair it, they obviously have no quality control and I would assume this goes on with a lot of trailer manufacturers, I really feel anyone looking for something like this spend the money on the highest quality product you can find because personally the one I purchased is an unconsolidated nightmare joke

FYI, those aren't drawers below the stove and sink. (The Alde system, water pump and limited access to the water panel are behind the upper panel and I don't recall what is below.)

I have a question, how will this TT fair with a half ton with 1985 Max Payload, 9600 TWR, and 960 Max Tongue Weight? My truck is equipped with air bags, W/D hitch, electronic trailer brakes, and upgraded suspension for best ride/handling quality. I plan on traveling solo with my dog and with limited cargo (my belongings are pretty light as a 25yr old man) so I feel like i would struggle getting up to even 8,500 gross trailer weight. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

This trailer starts at 7400lbs with a max of 10400 lbs. You'd easily add 1000 pounds of food, gear and clothes without thinking about it if you're traveling full time. That's why it's nice this has 3k cargo capacity. A 3/4 ton would be best honestly considering potential weight, 31 ft, and the possible road or weather conditions you may encounter.

These things are cheap and the build quality reflects that. Mines currently in the shop because it has a leak on the floor by the shower, the sink has no pressure, the skylight doesn't line up, the bathroom molding is porly done, and the sink takes a good 30 seconds for the water to stop coming out after its shut off.

Nice camper. @7:33, what is that large box underneath the dinnette ? (Alde System?) Unfortunately, it looks like it takes up at least 50% of the leg/foot room and would only allow 2 adults to sit there. That would be a deal-breaker for us, as we sometimes have friends that camp with us inside to play cards or have dinner together.

Hello and thank you for viewing the channel..Yes the box houses the coils for the heating system. However the table does rotate in more angles. I should have showed that better..My fault..It is true the unit really is made for two adults..However I wouldn't sacrifice the Aldi system to fit one more person there. Aldi is too important IMO..Happy camping and stay tuned for more videos..
