A solar tracker is a solar panel that tracks the sun's movement, so it is always facing the sun, which maximizes its output. Now, imagine if a solar tracker used one of these gyroscopes. It would be essentially omnidirectional, which I think would benefit it. Side Note: It has to have at least 3 rings inside of its frame, in order to become omnidirectional.

Well the scope basically means to see and gyro means rotation, and so it means that you are seeing or looking at the rotation of the device

This is not a gyroscope. This is simply a set of gimbals LIKE the ones we usually put a gyropscope in. It's like saying this is a book, whereas it's a shelf.

Hi Natt, I graduated from WHS in '75. I know most the teachers here in your video. It's a great video and a nostalgic treasure to have come across.
